Export a Facebuilder custom head to Daz with Wrap3: Eyelids do not close

December 2021 edited December 2021 in Blender Discussion

Hi to everyone! I generated a custom head with Facebuilder and I followed this tutorial

for wrapping the head for a genesis 8 male. I have successfully managed to import the obj via morph loader pro, as explained in the tutorial, but I have a problem with eyes because the eyelids do not close. They move slightly but don't close. In the wrapping procedure I excluded both the eyesockets and the eyes. The other problem I have (and have been able to solve) is that the eyeballs are off axis. Where did I go wrong? Can you help me? Thank you

This is something I am searching for an answer to as well.  Also noticed that the upper eye lids are set further back then the lower when they DO close.

As for diffeomorphic, if the figure works fine in daz studio then you have to import the custom morphs for the face.

We are talking about once it is back in DAZ.

Back in daz it is just normal that the standard g8f morphs may not work fine for a custom face. You need to import custom morphs too as any daz figure does. Then don't ask me the details I'm not a PA and I go from daz to blender not the reverse.

This might be a more general question, not blender specific, as this deals with import into DAZ.

Also, there are people who use wrap3d to create DAZ figures, most of them are on DeviantArt.
