  • I can only make an educated guess because I don't own the pose set, but I think..

    And / Or

Since the pose set uses the phrase "Anywhere Poses" I would assume that none of the poses are designed with a specific interior room set. However, both of the link sets above were made by IM and include a pool table. I would be willing to bet that the height of the tables would correspond with the poses.

Judging by the logo on the side of the table it appears to be the FG Sports Bar one. Good spot.

  • I would love to take credit for being that observent, but I really didn't notice that. :)

I knew I owned at least two IM sets that included a pool table. The poses question caught my attention because I didn't know they existed and knew they would be useful to me.

All I really did was look to see which IM sets included a pool table and were released around the same time as the poses. I'm guessing that FG / IM were conservative in their time resources and used one of those tables for the poses. And that the two pool tables probably use common geometry...  Which should equate to them being the right height across all three.

The height of different objects is the hardest to overcome when dealing with specialized poses like those.

Thank you! I did a search on billiard but the sports bar didn't get a hit.

"Billiards" and "pool" in the store search is tricky - like airplane, aircraft, warplane, jet, aeroplane your results could historically vary.

Especially when there are the truly bizarre anomolies like prop-driven planes listed as Jet and light sets listed as props, etc..   frown

Sadly you're right.  Interesting that my note at least got posted - I had gotten the Cloudflare Error and thought my comments were toast!

Ok, so I feel that "The Billiards Room" in the DAZ store, while old, is still usable for most purposes.  However I have a situation where it is not installed on one Windows 10 computer, and it refuses to allow itself to be installed. It is not on the hard drive other than this terse note in the "Products" list... a balloon pops up when you hover that says "double click to install". Huh? Note the little icon-within-an-icon (marked with a red arrow) which seems to come and go. Never seen that before.

It still works on one Windows 7 computer - that is to say, the listing under the letter "B" is populated with all the Billiard Table components, and they load ok.
