Just had to get that off my chest. My daughter and I have been looking at Hypertaf's new panda Roly and all those promo pictures with great pleasure this morning. Not only is Roly so perfectly adorable - the promo pictures have to be the cutest we've seen here on DAZ. Then there's the bee costume, the adorable poses! All of it make for a lovely package. Hypertaf is very talented and imaginative.

It's so terrible with these animals by Hypertaf, I don't WANT them, I don't NEED them, but they're just so very cute - what can you do? I've already put the pony in my wishlist, although I have horses and ponies galore, and now this ... I don't have the first clue what to ever use a panda for ... But but but!
Yes, this falls under that impossible-to-argue-with category known as "I don't need it, but I just have to have it!"...

You can never go wrong with a Panda. Have a dragon-slaying girl that needs a weapon? Panda. Want to make a sexy lingerie render but don't have high heels? Panda. In the mood for a moody noir black and white image? Panda! See?

I'm adding all your suggestions to my to-do list, and one of these days I'm going to render them out and post them here. My daughter and I have been brainstorming more ideas for the Hypertaf Roly Series... If only some of the crises in the real world right now could be as easily solved by adding your panda into the mix!!
Okay... I'll agree... the entire line of critters is weapons grade cute... but it's unfair to add the little stuffed animals too... that's like gotta be against the Geneva convention or something... how's someone supposed to resist that?...
Not sure why the tooth fairy doesn't have one though, but I suppose he is not as fluffy as the others... that and it's an outfit... and it's a little horrifying.

See, now I NEED to see those renders! They will cure cancer and end world hunger. And you're right, the UN should be 100% panda-based.
That's exactly why they need the little stuffed buddies, the Tooth Fairy started out as a cute little doll but I forgo to give him a buddy and it turned into a soul-sucking nightmare. So, you see, the little buddies are there to keep us all safe.

If it makes you feel any better, they did that to me, too. I used to love horror stuff and now all I can think of is what new sickening cute critter to make next. I need help.
Is anyone else having problems with the poses?
If you're applying the poses via the sliders, make sure you're not stacking them on top of each other. So just zero the figure pose to make sure none of them are being applied before you apply a new pose.
My daughter got Roly as one of the things she wanted for her birthday (she turned 12 this month). Here's her first render with Roly! : )

Roly is indeed super versatile! I got to borrow him today and did the moody noir BW that you showed Roly is absolutely meant for and decided to post it here.
We won't post any more of our potentially hundreds of Roly renders here and drive the forum-goers and you crazy. We'll just put some of our favorites in the gallery from now on. : )
My daughter is already working on her next Roly render, and I hear that Roly the Pharaoh, Roly the ballerina, Roly the astronaut are all things she's planning to try out... Thanks again for him! :D
