Thanks.. I've been pretty productive over the course of my time here.

Also, random fact.. I think I just ticked over the 10th anniversary of being at DAZ. That is quite a scary thought!

    Thank you everyone.

I have to find more excuses to use that set, its really, really nice. I like a fully contained interior like that.

I see the updates to the Baroque Grandeur sets are now in the store. Is it just the Celebrations and Extravagance textures that have been updated? The base set was already updated a couple of years ago, is it still the same? And looking at my Product Library page I see the Service Set and Dinner Service, will they get updates as well?

Correct, though BG was also updated to DS4.6 too..so that update should be live too (however it's the same SKU from the last update)

Dinner Service set already has been updated (again, should be live I think) and the Service Set will likely be updated 'soon' :)

I installed the amazing looking 'Extravagance', manually as usual, but DS told me it could not find several files. I have DS 4.6 and put all my stuff into the 'old' My Library folders. Could this be the reason why I get this error message?

If you PM me the details (and some screenshots) I'll take a look for you :)

It shouldn't matter where content is put as long as DS knows where it is.

Probably Jack's avatar pic got it and corrupted the download. :P

    Heh..

Makes sense to repeat in here too.. if anyone gets errors saying the Baroque Grandeur is missing items, please re-download that too.. as that has also been updated with new DS4.6 files :)

I'm sorry, but th abbrv fldr nms of the Baroque Grandeur texture updates are confusing me. The Extravagance installers have content folders for "Bar_G_Ext_v2" and "Bar_G_Ext_C_v2" — which is what? It doesn't help that the store page description for Extravagance mentions Celebrations. Has a bit of text been accidentally copied across from the Celebrations store page? What have I got in which set? Maybe I shouldn't have tried installing the whole lot all at once...

In essence, BG is the base set, Celebration is purely a texture addon for BG, and Extravagance is a room addon, that supports both BG and Celebration.

So Bar_G_Ext_v2 is the v2 of Extravagance and Bar_G_Ext_C_v2 is the v2 of the Celebrations version of Extravagance.

To use Extravagance you need at least BG. You only need ‘Celebration’ if you want to use the Celebration texture version of Extravagance.

    Hope that helps :)

Apologies, yes.. I received it - and have put it on the list of ideas etc to discuss.. I thought I had replied, but it appears that one slipped through the net, sorry! :)

Got it now, thanks. Is there really any need any more to abbreviate names into alphabet soup, though? This is far from the first item I've bought and spent a while puzzling out what the names are supposed to mean. This is actively making it more difficult for me to use my content.

Well, some people also complain about long file names.. so I dunno, it's kinda tough to call. What doesn't help with the BG stuff is the need to differentiate between all the different products, over 2 versions, too.. so this is kind of the worst case scenario really.

I don't intentionally try to make life difficult, heh ;)

Could part of that long name problem be due to using_underlines_to_make_it_all_one_word? I don't mind when actual spaced words cause the names to split on to an extra line, but the way the D|S content display ellipsifies a long text string isn't helping.
