Need Help Removing Walls From Enclosed Scenes
Some of the room sets/actors come in as a closed box. This makes it very difficult to get a view angle to cover the scene the way you would like. Zoom out too far and you exit the box.
OK, I did a little searching, I found a reference where you can select a wall and remove it. I find I can select a wall but no options come up to where I can delete the wall or hide it or whatever so I am stuck.
I am currently building a scene with the Westpark Morgue, is there a way to remove/hide a wall so I can have a good view? In this case I want to remove the south wall.
Thanks

You use the 'eye' icon in the Scene pane to do that.
In your case, expand WPM_morgue, and select wall_s, and click on the eye icon to make it invisible in the Scene.
First to try is changing the camera focal length to 30 or so.
Then- If the wall is not a separate prop or surface, you can't delete, make it invisible (surface to 0% opacity) , or turn it off you could use the polygon editor tool to select specific polygons and turn them off or delete them.
Thanks for the advise, changing the camera focal lengt to 30 help.
In iray there is another option, the Section Plane (Create menu) which will hide everything on one side of it - so just place it slightly inside the room on the side facing the camera. You will need to select it and in the Parameters pane turn on Clip Lights if you don't want it letting in a flood of light through the hidden wall.
