Yes, between the 2 packages there are quite a few clones. One only needs to use one at a time - to fit the clothing from a different figure to the figure they are using.

The main purpose for this project was to enable an exchange between the "T" and "A" figures, so in the drop-down list look for reference to either a "T" or an "A."

  • So happy this thread got bumped back up. THANK YOU!

Being able to use more stuff on G1 is great, as I use G1 a lot, so thanks again for this. One question (can't remeber if I've asked it before), is there a way to use genesis 1 and above items on V4 and M4, as I also use those a lot as well?

One can autofit clothing from V/M4 TO Genesis 1 as it came with autofit clones [as well as their skins].

Legacy figures do not have autofit features available to them. However if you have purchased the V/M4 Shapes for Genesis 1, you can load a clothing piece on G1, then shape G1 to that of V4 or M4, [I forget right now whether or the basic male or basic female was also to be used for the shape], then HIDE G1 and export out the clothing piece [no groups as they have different rigging]. That can be used to start making a legacy clothing item for the legacy figure. To do that you need to have or make a "blank V4" or "blankM4" .cr2 file.

You have to group that clothing piece in D/S, export out that grouped .obj.  This MUST BE SAVED TO THE GEOMETRY FOLDER under Runtime [the same runtime the legacy figures are in].

Use the blank.cr2 to get the geometry from it loaded into the Figure/Skeleton setup pane. Click on and drag the geometry on the left side over to the right side so the rigging will appear.

Add in the geometry of the clothing piece to the Figure/Skeleton setup pane. CAREFULLY delete all the unrequired rigging/mesh references on the right side. Then somehow get the remaining references to geometry changed to refer to the new clothing piece's sections.

Make sure the "type" of rigging is set to Legacy. Create the item in the scene. Remove the blank .cr2 from the scene. Save via Exporting .cr2 - the new clothing item to the Runtime/characters/wherever you're putting the clothing to, folder.

As it's been years since I've done all this, quite possibly missing a step or two ... I think I've mentioned enough of the procedures though that you might agree that some experiences in life can be better enjoyed by purchasing the V4/M4 [and any other legacy figure SHAPE] for Genesis 1, and simply use Genesis 1 :-) Saves MANY hours of work and frustrations.

If not, then after you have the basic clothing .cr2 made, then one has to adjust the rigging options for the x,y,z functions on every single group. To do this requires that the clothing be "fit to" the proper figure. Be very careful not to adjust any of the people figure's rigging, just the clothing's. When done, resave said clothing piece exporting out the new .cr2 file.

Evilinnocence's Crossdresser program can be used to convert Genesis 1 clothes to V4 and M4 too.

Here's the link to the main program: https://www.evilinnocence.com/crossdresser-converter

It allows you to convert clothes from any of the supported figures to one of the figures you have a license for.

    Here's the license for V4: https://www.evilinnocence.com/shop/v4-crossdresser-license.html

And the one for M4: https://www.evilinnocence.com/shop/michael4-crossdresser-license.html

It should be noted, however, that the XD4 license for Sixus1's Behemoth works for the newer "Behemoth 2009" figure, rather than the older one of the same name.  (Both are available on ShareCG.)
