Help : Daz to Blender Bridge NO TEXTURES

sfmpovsfmpov Posts: 9
July 2021 in Blender Discussion

Hi,

I've been successfully using the DTB bridge addon for a while now, I've imported several characters in blender and it worked pretty good up to now. However, since today, my characters are imported without any textures, the shaders are all blank and the model is completely white in Blender. No python error is thrown.

I've tried :

  • Updating DTB addon to the latest version using DIM
  • Uninstall - Reinstall the addon
  • Using blender 2.92 and 2.93

I've even tried importing characters that I previously could import correctly and now they are imported with no textures at all. Not sure how this fix this one, any help is appreciated.

Thanks!

Been having the same problem on some models. It only sometimes works.
"Since the export process is not perfect, we will need to manually adjust a few things. An essential part of Blender is the Node Editor.
ere we can make adjustments and add texture maps to obtain more realistic renders as tested with the skin.
Some texture maps are not automatically linked by the Daz Extension, so I encourage you to dig inside the texture folders of your character to make sure all the resources are conveniently linked."

Yet it gives no information on how to "conveniently link" them...
