The best way to copy/move content to new system

Hi.

I tried a search but did not found much so sorry if this has been answered before. I have a lot of stuff for daz mostly bought and some self created. The last time I tried this I failed and in the end I installed everything again over the course of a week.

Is there a tutorial or tips or tricks or anything that can make this easier?

Thanks

If you use external drive(s) for content, moving to another system is as easy as copying/plugging in the drive and telling content directory manager (right click on Content Library tab) what's what.

Thanks. blush Why have I never thought of that smiley

  • I have done the same, but with an internal SATA drive. Just popped a 2Tb one in my system last week and duplicated my content onto it. Took a couple of hours to do, but I now feel much safer with it all on a new drive rather than on an 8yo drive. If needs be, I can put that in a USB caddy when I eventually get a new machine.

    Regards,

    Richard.
