How did you make the hair? Was it made for the base figure? Have you rigged the hair?
1. I imported the hair OBJ and used DAZ's Transfer Utility function.The hair then has the skeleton of G8FM and then I save the hair.
2. Save As >>>Support Asset >>>Figure/Prop Assets
3. When using the saved hair on other characters, there are questions.

And for advanced use you can apply rigidity so character morphs do not affect most parts of the hair in future:

It is a lot of work to fit many characters
