Can Petite Fleur Hair be updated?

Petite Fleur Hair looks pretty cute, but I can't tell if it would look good with Iray hair shaders. I'm concerned the geometry may be too lumpy to look good with G8F. Has anyone tried it? If you have it, can you take a look? Much appreciated. https://www.daz3d.com/petite-fleur-hair

    Heres a lighter color texture with the Uber base applied no tweaks. I did try appling Colorwerks and it didn't look good at all.

    Cute model you paired it with. But I am not crazy about the hairline or the opacity of the buns. Glad I asked. Thanks to you both!
