    Thank you ed3D.

    My second entry.
    Flower Spot
Used: Flowers by Lisa, the SmallWorld1 HDRI from the Small World HDRI set. (Rendered with DOF, DOF setting for HDRI adjusted separately.)

Horo... beautiful work both. My Favorite is the second, I love these Flowers, and the Light is perfect.

Adbc: I prefer the first version, although this one is also nice.

Horo: First one is interesting for its special look. Second one is really lovely!

I made two versions of my first one. I think I prefer the blue one. I made two different flowers in Bryce and instanced them, put them in a reflecting box and used DOF.

    Title: abstract flowers.

And I made a realistic one (like most entries so far). This one uses DM's Retreat, a couple of  Genesis2 with clothing, some Bryce trees, an old barn and a bridge. There is a light inside the retreat and the sun. The roses the boy is presenting are from CGAxis. Title: Spring love.

    Electro-Elvis : thank you.

Hansmar : The abstract flowers with the blue background are also my favourite. Spring love is indeed more realistic and very well done.

Went for fantasy flowers. Credit to Violeta Raffin from sketchfab for the fantasy plant with flower and the fuchsia ones. The other items are old free stuff from the net.

    Thank you Yewllow Pen.

Hansmar - thank you. I like the blue one better, both are interesting and show "out-of-the-box" thinking, great modeling of the flowers, too. The Spring Love is beautiful.

adbc - thank you. Your fantasy scene is just fantastic.

Wow, so many good posts here and I haven't got a useful idea.

@ Electro-Elvis: Poppy Meadow - the flowers look great. I like the first version better. Good DOF.

@ adbc: flowers and grasses - Very nice depth in the picture. Invites you to wander around there a little.

Went for fantasy flowers - Really fantastic. A strange world as I like it.

@ spuddy: Under the bough - turned out really beautiful.

@ Horo: Drawn Flowers - cool idea. it looks like something out of a comic. I like it.

Flower Spot - very colorful with a very realistic light. Very good work.

@ Hansmar: abstract flowers - you can only love the idea. I like the version with the blue background better.

Spring love - turned out to be a very beautiful scene.

    Fantastic entries by everyone.

Horo - Both the Flower Spot and Bugs in Flowers, perfect lighting in both, nice use of Lisa flowers. I don't think they are available anymore.

Hansmar - Both the Abstract flowers are beautiful, I also prefer the blue one. The Spring Love is awesome, love it.

    Adbc - Superb Fantasy Flowers.

Spuddy -  excellent render Laying in the long grass, the Flower worlds is also nice.

Thank you mermaid. Not sure about Lisa's Botanicals. With HiveWire out of business, some of the assets are available at Renderosity, but I'm not sure Lisa's are still availabe. After all, she passed away earlier this year.

According to the HiveWire forum, her products have all been moved over to Renderosity, so you should be able to get them there if you want them.

Horo - I like the stylised quality of your first entry, but even more I like the second (very pretty) and the third "Bugs in Flowers" is great.

Hansmar - your "absract flowers" are fun! (Actually I like the contrast of the black background, but the bue is good too). "Spring Love" is beautifully done too.

adbc - nice fantasy flowers scene, lovely colours.

spuddy - love the POV of your "laying the long grass", and the grass looks very real.  Your fantasy "Flower Worlds" is a really inventive idea and well done.

Yellow Pen - your "Sunny Morning" is lovely, great use of DOF.

MelanieL - thank you. Thank you also for your info about Lisa's Botanicals.

MelanieL: thank you too for your nice comment.

Adbc, thank you. Lovely original and illustrative work you made.

Horo, thanks. Your ‘bugs in flowers’ was similar to one of my ideas. I did however decide on something else, since your one is so very nice.

Drachenlords, Mermaid010, MelanieL, Thank you also.

Spuddy, my thanks. Great close-up look through the grass. And the ‘flower worlds’ is very original as well as very well made.

Yellow Pen, Very good looking render. Lovely use of DoF.

Horo and MelanieL - Thank you for your info about Lisa's Botanicals, unfortunately I don't have an account there, I thought maybe it was available here at Daz and somehow missed it.

Hansmar - thank you. Oh that idea about bugs and flowers, why not give it a try?

mermaid - at the time when I purchased the flowers, Lisa was a PA here at Daz but left and went with those starting HiveWire. Daz lost quite a few very talented PAs.
