I bought the base outfit, which in the promos shows as red and black (which I really loved). The actual textures, though, are purple which I'm assuming should be in the additional textures (which I haven't bought). It does say Aubergine in the description, which I hadn't noticed, as I was going by the promo pics. Is there any way to actually get the red and black? It can't be a mixup with the added textures, as none of those images show a red set.

    If you can't adjust the base colour to give what you want, try looking for a texture that is a shade of grey as close to white as possible; then, swap it for the base textures if they are the same and adjust colour appropriately.

    Alternatively, if the bump and normal textures are good for showing the patterns and texturing, remove base colour textures and just adjust to a colour you like.

    You might find adjust glossy and others also helps; it is trial and error. I find it more versatile than using default textures provided.

    Yeah, I shift colors a lot and of course have tons of shaders. I just really liked the image in the promos, and of course it's best to have accurate promo images. If the base image was white and purple, I wouldn't have bought it. :) If there was a chance of getting this fixed, and if the base clothing was updated with the correct textures, it would be great - I was just posting because obviously no one has realised yet that this comes with one of the addon textures rather than the correct ones.

    Does any of the textures from the add-on match the Aubergine? I suspect it may be the second one already, which would suggest that some (promo or materials) textures were switched around between the main product and the add-on.
    The add-on does mention the Aubergine variation in its flavor text, but in the list right below, it doesn't, but mentions a "Crimson Quill" texture instead. Yet, none of the promo images show anything that's noticably crimson (or red).

    I don't know, I don't have the addon. The white and purple image in the addon promos matches the textures that I got in the base set, though, so perhaps it was mistakenly switched with the base textures?

    That would be my guess. Either the promo images got switched, or the material sets were switched.
