Dull Hair Color

Hi! Does anyone know what settings I could change? My hair color looks very dull--this is the texture I made vs. the rendered hair! 

I want it to be very bright like the texture but I've tried everything!

    Is this Iray, using Iray Uber Base as the shader? Check the Glossiness settings, consider adding some Top Coat, and if the hair model works with it consider using scattering.
