Anyone else getting this.
I cannot down load a thing from the Daz website as I keep getting a DNS 1016 Cloud fare error.
My project is currently halted due to an internet glitch. Tried other sites and no issues there...

Connect is working, I haven't tried DIM/Daz central, but yes the product Library is doing that - I will report. In the meantime, even if you want to do manual installs you could try using Install Manager as a downloader.

I keep getting download failed with dim, so I tried a manual install and got Error 1016 Origin DNS error
Seems like a cloudflare glitch in their DNS handling. They are generally pretty quick about resolving this sort of issue, but I'll keep an eye on it.
I think the problem runs much deeper; I was about to post a question if people had a maximum download limit per day because I too am experiencing issues. And with DIM out of all things... then I saw this thread.
I bought myself some huge packages today: 11Gb+ download in total, everything went fine when all of a suddem wham... nothing. "Download Failed!", and I'm quite unhappy with this because this manifested itself during a download. I already got around 5Gb but... waiting for Neo City; it grabbed parts 1 and 6 but 2 - 5 completely refuse to download all of a sudden.
This definitely looks like a problem with the Daz servers.

In the mean time I did some checks of my own and for sure...
Kinda weird for 2 DNS servers to go out at once, I sure hope this isn't a single server which just so happens to have 2 IP addresses (as is a common practice with some hosting companies). Wait... seems that netblock is hosted by Cloudfare as well, meaning that I was using a proxy. Even so... the issue seems clear enough.

I made a doodoo up there: I meant to use dig @... NS, not the stuff I did up there. Even so, the result is still somewhat the same because according to Cloudfare "cdn.daz3d.com" uses those two IP addresses I mentioned above as well. But my comment about 2 DNS servers going out at once is bogus. Blame my Fridayevening beverage :) Can't edit that code window so I won't.
Yeah, I have 1.something Tb download per month and have only just now turned on DS and DIM. Only did a few things online today. I am okay with waiting, but will be careful about uninstalling and reinstalling products where I have problems in Lost and Found from my User Data Reset.
I was downloading manually OK until about 3:00pm Pacific Time when one had a DNS error. Then one DL'd, but a couple of minutes later nothing would download.
No, you picked that up wrong (or maybe I didn't explain correctly): I wasn't referring to client bandwith but possible throttles on the Daz servers to prevent clients from downloading too much data at once. That's also a practice you sometimes see with some servers in order to try and spread the bandwith a little.
That shouldn't matter too much, Lost and Found is also often used when you're installing perfectly normal items through DIM. Right now I got parts from the industrial bedroom, open apartment, tooth and bone (savage acc. for gen2) and some pharao stuff for V4 in there. Although I have re-catagorized quite a bit I only add categories and never removed them (definitely no 'base' categories so to speak).
Sometimes I want to... for example "Environments" vs. "Sets" which are roughly the same thing where "Architecture" is concenred, but oh well ;)
The issue seems to have been resolved; my download just kicked in again and I'm >< close to finally strawl around Neo City!
Not sure if this is related, but his site has been SLOWER THAN SLOW for me the past weeks. I almost keeps me from coming here and some days, I haven't. It's so frustrating, especially after the whole Storepocalypse.

Happened to me several times as well lately, including when was downloading purchases.
I hAD SIMILAR PROBLEMS, AND ALSO WITH dim. i REINSTALLED dim AND IT WORKED RIGHT AWAY.
Well it's happening again. Error 1016, all that. Bought a couple of things and I can't download them.
The web team is aware, so with luck it will be fixed soon.

Well, there was a reason why we switched from cloudflare to AWS....

I can use DIm again, so error seems to be fixed for that part, at least.
