Gift Cards not being discounted

When I log in, I see a banner that my loyality discount now applies to Gift Card PLUS an extra 10% off -- see attached image. But when I add a Gift Card to my cart and go to check out, the full amount is still being charged? Am I reading the banner wrong or Is this a glitch that needs to be fixed?

    Unfortunately it seems its another confusing contradictory sale, that says you get a discount on something only to then excludes that item from the discount.

    Unfortunately it seems its another confusing contradictory sale, that says you get a discount on something only to then excludes that item from the discount.

    Hmmm, I put two random products by Zeddicus into my card, followed by a gift card. The gift card is at 10% off. I think the Zeddicus sale actually is working. The loyalty discount is NOT.

    There actually seems to be a problem with the loyalty discount, rather than the Zeddicus sale, but there is a problem nonetheless.

    Loyalty discount applies to Gift Cards only with 3 Zeddicus items.

    Worked perfectly fine and as advertised for me:

    Added THREE Zeddicus items to the cart (this doesn't have to include the new Z Excercise Studio, I used 3 older Zeddicus products which I'd had on my wishlist for ages)
    Added a giftcard.
    Giftcard was 37% off as advertised (discounts are *always* multiplative here, never additive, so 10% discount + 30% discount works out as 100% - (0.90 * 0.70) * 100% = 100% - 63% = 37%)
