...Does Carrara 8 do motion capture?

    but like most programs, you can import BVH files from mocap programs
    Google Brekel, Truebones, or look at Ipisoft in the Daz store.
    (I have not used any of them, just looked so far).

    If memory serves BLENDER has a great MOTION TRACKER ability and I bet you can export the information! Watched a great tutroial on it but cant recall. 3DAGE sent me the link her will know!

    I too want to get into some of that!

    I got LOTS a FAKE UFO videos to make and disseminate!

    I think the OP means motion capture for figures. I think what you're talking about is match moving, which is used for tracking points in 2D footage and translating that into camera data for use in 3D software or AE type programs.

    I am not sure but there is a converter for one of the tracker programs might be PFhoe
