Ah, maybe that's what I was thinking of. I'm sure PP added something that made its mats a better option for DS back in the day.
Yes, that was the move from .bum to plain image files, since DS had no way to create .bum files (they generally weren't distributed, at least with freebies).
What a wonderful project. I think it's a pity that for the old Stonemason sets no Iray addons appear like Jack Tomalin does. ;) Whereby I am also happy about new things.
UF1 worked out great.
For UF2 I guess I am too stupid. I just loaded the set and selected the topmost "Root" element (uf2BlockA) and then executed the material set. Now I get an error message and the log says: "Invalid hierarchy for selected node(s) and "preset_hierarchical_material" type; no root(s) found.
Hm. Let me check how I set that up.
Now that is peculiar, and maybe behond my current skill to help with. If I bring in the object from Lost and Found (!UrbanFuture_02) I can apply my Hierarchal Mateiral UF2Iray (by double-clicking) and I get no errors. I installed UF2 with the DIM, I don't know if that makes a difference.
thanks for those awesome presets !
With the Stonemason Sale, I recalled this thread, and wanted to pop in and thank you for the UF1 and UF2 iRAY light presets!!!
@3dOutlaw Thank you for your kind words. I really need to get back and finish the last set.
So cool of you! Thanks So Much!!! :)
