Soooo on the fence... I always like the new shiny to see what I can do with it, but the truth is, the first thing I'd do is make her taller, less muscular, with bigger breasts and probably mix her with prettier younger Asian girls I have from PAs, so really, what's the point? But that always seems like fun of it, taking a character I'm not that into and transforming it into something I like. I also have no interest in wrestling so would change the outfits into sci-fi. I think sometimes I get these bundles not because I like them, but for the challenge of MAKING them into something I like lol.

And this is the 1st animation product I've seen with a pro bundle so I think it says DAZ is serious about getting animation working as good as the other competitors, it's take take is all.

True IK & lip sync integrated in Studio would say Daz is serious about getting animation working.

Now, for those getting two banners, do both apply or just one?

Both banners were applied for me.

What is the final bundle price with the 2 banners combined? I'm terrible at math

I am a PC+ member and got both banners. Here is my math:

    Bundle base cost = $66.13
in Cart = $42.32 so first 20% took off 13.22, second 20% took off 10.58
    Bundle went down to $29.62
I used my PC+ coupon and further brought it down to $26.02
I have the HD add-on, an expression pack, and two DO/PA characters, one texture set add-ons along with two PA characters in my cart.
My total cart price is $97.29 but that will go down after taxes are adjusted.

    Hope that helps.

    Yes this helps. Thanks

I think she's very pretty, just maybe less conventionally feminine than you like. And younger? She looks pretty young to me.

I kinda think this is the problem with getting TOO narrow on the bundle offerings when you are talking genres - unless the customer just happens to be part of that niche, the bundle isn't worth it for them.  Even historical bundles aren't this narrow - they can be history, fantasy, or even sci-fi depending on usage.  Wrestling... pretty much is only wrestling even if you use Oso or RawArt non-human characters! ;)

Even within wrestling & for fans, the bundle is hyper focused on a specific style and look with the leotards.

I mean, I'm not a HUGE fan of wrestling, and even I know that there's a VERY specific look here. That's the really confused part of this bundle for me, who actually wanted a more athletic figure with an athletic theme. It's VERY focused on a glam-leotard style within a sub-genre of athletic entertainment, which isn't useful for events in the same family of combat sports (like MMA). It's pretty much a WRASSLIN-only bundle, and only a very specific genre of wrasslin. Like, 80's hair band, Hulk Hogan, WWF-era wrasslin.

(If you look at what WWE "Divas" wear today, it's not just that look and style of leotard-ish outfit. That more general Diva look would have been FAR more useful to more people. So, the one different style outfit, from CynderBlue, is not suprisingly in the Pro Bundle only.)
(And I gotta buy the 2nd set of wrasslin poses as an add-on?! Well, that's one way to get us to 4 add-ons.)

I really did want an athletic female figure bundle.
So this one is kind of almost what I wanted, except being totally not what I wanted in a bundle LOL.

Not a fan either, but CB Take Down Clothing is part of the Pro Bundle.  I think it should be "Takedown Clothing", though, as "Take Down Clothing" has a different meaning.

That's the criticism. The outfit with the wider genre use is Pro Bundle only? The sale structure already enforces the Pro Bundle only. It's really not a strategy that encourages more people to participate in this release.

IMO, that is totally backwards. They ought to have given us a wider style of athletics/combat sport clothing so that CB's outfit wasn't locked behind the Pro Bundle. I mean, just look at what WWE Divas wear today, and pick something. Anything.

    It's a frustrating Pro Bundle.

Are they still called Divas? I thought that term was retired...  Admittedly I haven't watched it in years.

As for the clothes, if the leotards aren't wanted, wouldn't there be a wide variety of modern clothes that could be used? With a little bit of texture work any of the bathing suits / lingere could work (if even more stylized attire is wanted). If going in the other direction, there are plenty of t-shirts and such that would work...  Heck, even the fantasy related clothes would work for some themed wrestlers.

Personally, I was just happy to see the Ric Flair styled cape / cloak. All that is missing is some "woo!" poses.

It's not that I don't already have a variety of clothes for Genesis 8, including athletics/combat sports.
    I have clothing.

What's frustrating is that this Pro Bundle gives us NONE of that variety in Wrestling or Combat Sports (except for the one outfit locked in the Pro Bundle).

(Leotards are not exactly the fanciest clothing, as 3d objects. Even I could go into Blender and make a sheath to fit a form. The fancier Singlets/body suits in the store will give you different morphs, or "Lie on the ground" morph in some cases. These Leotards? The morph list isn't overwhelming... which would be FINE if we didn't get 3 of these kinds of Leotards in a bundle. It's not like these are fancy dresses with multiple zones, different overlapping fabrics, buttons, etc. It's really a small subset of Wrestling or Combat Sports style.)

Like, where's the BELT? Or headgear/masks for Lucha Libre?

(LOL, I'm sure we'll get a Championship Belt tomorrow because they couldn't bundle it with the Pro Bundle today. Maybe even a Luchador(a) mask.)

Ah, I see your point now. And now I want a belt and masks!

Seriously though...  I half expect more stuff of that nature in a male bundle. You could say that there aren't alot of masked female wrestlers...  In fact I can only think of Japanese promotions that would have masked females.

The belt does seem like a significant oversight though. It would be nice to have a dForce belt, for over the shoulder or loose around the waist, etc.

Is the Pro Bundle worth it? Well for $26.02 I got 3 characters, 2 hairs, 2 poses, 1 animation?, and 4 outfits to kitbash with.

    Average character at a 30% discount $13 to $17

1 simple outfit, $9 - $12 and these have some more complexe stuff so maybe $17?

1 hair seems to be running around $17 - $23

Pose sets are the least expensive, $9 - $11

    No clue on animation.

Everyone can make their own decisions on purchase based on personal taste, need, finances, and size of library. No harm no foul.

And if you pass up this pro bundle today, I bet that by the PA Sale, you will get a better offer then.

    Ended up getting the bundle.

Didn't read the fine print though so missed out on the $15 of extra content with the four add-ons.

Will experiment using CJs and Gias arms normal map to increase the veiny look in the biceps.

thqat miss might be a lot bigger. it was siad it was $15 from each of the categories to a tune of $90 total. I haven't tried but will. Still debating. I like the character and the Togatta Hair.

Really like the base character morph. But then, I usually do. And for a wonder we've actually got a character where then appallingly overdone makeup actually makes sense. Not that I'll be using it. Annoyed at the Iray-only hair but that's an old complaint by now. The hair shaders that came with DisparateDreamer's Hana are getting a workout. But I'd leap on a broader selection of colors of such for 3DL like a demented frog.

The bundle is Niche with a capital 'N', but there are enough pieces to most of the poutfits that it's likely to be kitbashable. (And no high heels!) Actually the amateur wrestling outfit looks like it might make a decent turn of the 20th century men's swimsuit, with the proper shaders.

I wasn't about to undermine my PC+ coupon picking through the freebies, but there are a *lot* of nice PA items in that special 70% off collection.

Ugh. I thought it was just $15 over all. I am going to pretend like I didn't read this.

It's supposed to be $15 from each category?!? The way it was written it seemed like just $15 off one item. I can't afford to purchase the whole set again just to get the discount I missed and the sale will be gone by the time a support ticket is seen...

thqat miss might be a lot bigger. it was siad it was $15 from each of the categories to a tune of $90 total. I haven't tried but will. Still debating. I like the character and the Togatta Hair.

It's supposed to be $15 from each category?!? The way it was written it seemed like just $15 off one item. I can't afford to purchase the whole set again just to get the discount I missed and the sale will be gone by the time a support ticket is seen...

Try building your cart again with added freebies, screenshot and send to CS and ask them to put the freebies in your account.

I'm not sure what you mean by "locked in the Pro Bundle".  You can purchase it separately at 51% off with the PC+ discount.

Yes, with no a la carte discount this time, of course.

EDIT: I mean, am I the only one who doesn't see the value in this Pro Bundle? It seems like you and others think this is a great Bundle. I just don't see it, and I'm somewhat of a fan of the genre.

You are not the only one. This new trend (since March i think?) is just theme Pro Bundles. At some point the charactaers are more as an extra, an excuse to release Pro Bundles.

We had so many fantasy stuff that this is fresh air for me. But i do agree that is missing some things. Mask/Belt being one of the more notorious as already pointed. Maybe they do like with pirates hats, that on the second pirate release it was an addon for both male and female.

Now, even "fresh" i see no value in purchasing this bundle with the current offer. Is just horrible. I don't get why people are happy with daz giving only 6 free items (that is what this credit is worth) with limited use because of the categories. I think i got arround double that with Sahira's $60 and had more liberty in the selection. And with sahira we also got the chance to buy lots of g8 pro bundles from $10 to $15.

quick decision ..$72 too much right now ... half that for Kayo and Togatta Hair hair ... still too much.
A pass. I like her though.

I just skimmed though the thread and it struck me that no one else seems to have noticed one incredibly unique and awe-inspiring fact about this release:

This is the first DAZ adult female Pro Bundle EVER, in THE HISTORY OF DAZ, where EVERY SINGLE INCLUDED OUTFIT comes with PRACTICAL SHOES!!!

    surprise

I stopped watching wrestling before female wrestlers became commonplace, but I feel like heels are or (hopefully) were a pretty regular feature of their outfits.

Well that's nice...bought two things I could have waited on just to get the banner...for a bundle I couldn't be less interested in. Character is fine and well-made...facially she's one of the more realistic characters I've seen in terms of eyes, etc...but oy, wrestling? *sigh* Only thing I want is Redz new hair.

I did get two banners...have no idea if they stack. Testing for folks in the thread...bundle by itself comes up $42.32 (including the fact that I'm PC+). Bundle plus four cheapest add-ons comes to $53.33 ($29.62 for the bundle itself).

Sidenote - absolutely against putting animations into a pro bundle. Not everybody does animations. Waste of a pro bundle slot...wouldn't even install it.

An animation can always be used as a sequence of poses, just scrub through the Timeline to find the one you want (assuming the basic subject matter is of interset, of course).

That assumes we know how to use the timeline. It's another thing we have to learn just to use poses..?

There's really not much to learn. There's a cursor on the timeline with a yellow triangle, just click and hold that and drag it left and right once you load the animation in, which if it's like any other animation sets, you just have to double click on the one you want to use in the content panel.

honestly don't know how people even learn to use DAZ studio unless it's click load and render

did they learn to use iray or still stuck on 3Delight

I believe it is a choice of what new skills they want to learn

and if it's not something they want others shouldn't have the opportunity

the protests about including HDmorphs in bundles another example

I myself rarely use them but others like them

BTW I have no need of wrestling animations either or the bundle but I still don't think it's a bad idea and wouldn't mind seeing animations in other bundles, just having a hard time figuring out how extra bonus interpolated poses is such an unwanted thing for image renderers and so difficult for them to grasp using,

not being able to use the timeline must really suck if they want to use dforce to do not easily translated from default poses to the pose they want  too.

Wow, although I'm not really into the bundle, there's sooo many things I want in the 70% off category, including many I rarely see on sale at all. I can easily alter the stuff in the bundle to make it useful for me so I might get it just for the 70% off the other stuff. Ugh. This could be an expensive day...

In the Attitude Era with the Divas, yes it was a lot of skimpwear with heels, but now they wear boots or like tennis shoes with outfits that are pretty close to the bundle for the most part. There's no way they could do all the leaps off the top rope in heels.

    I really like the character.
She has a realistic athletic body type, and her face shape and texture feel very unique.
    You love to see it!

@rafidew, like your render of her. Much better than my attempt which I am scrapping. I agree on all your points.

Attitude Era is exactly when I stopped watching wrestling, because it ruined what I enjoyed about wrestling: the actual wrestling. I liked the athleticism and the competition (such as it was), especially the luchadors, not the overblown characters and their ridiculous psychodrama. I liked the 1-2-3 Kid, but hated X-Pac.

Ugh. I thought it was just $15 over all. I am going to pretend like I didn't read this.

The infamous "DAZ Store Staff No Write Gud English" syndrome strikes again.  Only this time, it looks like it probably hurt DAZ more than usual as I imagine a lot of people read it that way.
