Anyone know how to export hair to Keyshot?
Whenever I import Daz models to KS, the hair comes in super chunky like shredded cardboard. When I scour the web for answers, I keep coming across similar solutions like this "Select hair. Then Parameters > Simulation > Hair > Preview PR should be set to 'On'. Then export as OBJ." The thing is I don't have the Preview PR in any of the parameters.
Attachments show hair in Daz and then what I get in KS.
One person even posted a screen shot of the dialog box showing "Preview PR Hairs". See last pic.
What am I doing wrong or have set wrong in my preferences where I do not have this menu item. Does it have to do with the type of hair geometry file? Thanks for any insight.

That is for strand-based hair. This looks like good old fashioned poly hair.
To me, there appears to be a translucency issue going on.
Thanks for the reply.
This is the hair in the images: https://www.daz3d.com/wild-wind-hair-for-genesis-8-females
How do I konw which models on the Daz store are strand based? Right now I'm about ready to pay any amount of money for some hair I can export!
Yeah, that is poly hair.
Strand-based will be labeled "dforce hair." Like this one:

not always
plenty of dforce transmapped hairsheets around too
and fibermesh that is not dforce
Thanks for the insight. Isn't dforce built-in to Daz Studio? That hair states "Note: Requires dForce simulation". Are they just being redundant or is there something else I would need to have/buy to make this hair work?
It will work in Daz studio. I'm afraid I don't know if it exports to Keyshot.
