Why Don't Store bought Expressions Apply Correctly to Genesis 8

Ok, what gives already? I've been noticing for sometime now that when I purchase 3expression products, even when using the base character they were advertised as being designed for, the expressions aplly all messed up. Notice how the result looks nothing like the preset. Please advise. Am I doing something wrong here?

    I can dial everything in but it only takes about 50% before it looks whacky.

    Have you checked that there are no hidden morphs applied that interfere with the expressions?

    Indeed. I really think it must be another product I've installed interfering.
