If they have 2 seperate textures for them, that can be interchanged with the torso materials, then obviously they would need to include a MAT for each option. Most characters tend to only have one texture for each skin type, and as such would be handled with H.MATS

truthfully seeing Underbelly without underwear would scare me a bit
I don't do those renders but TBH I always find it disturbing that DAZ 3D people don't by default have all their body parts even if I don't show them simply because of what it suggests, rather like cutting off hands.
I hide hands too under gloves.
The earliest figures were complete with geometry swapping to hide parts under clothing then the whole doll thing emerged, I know some hate the term but it was actually being used by DAZ when I first saw DS3 with Aiko3 as being family friendly for art.
Makehuman figures are complete and I do understand minors being more doll like in fact I don't care to render realistic children at all only toons.
on genital matts don't expect PAs to do realistc details if it's something they really don't want to be painting
thats fully understandable just a skin tone that blends is sufficient but I do think it should exist simply for the same reason a fingernail should exist etc.
Also the base gens mats are included in the base h. mat. The separate presets were for adding a snipped and unsnipped option.

Yeah thats really annoying, the bgest female product (for me) is new Gens for V8, I wish that would work for da Boys too, its just 1 click and it worked ALWAYS.
Can always load in G8 base male, add his gens, then dial Underbelly to 100%. The skin textures will be base G8, but youll have the shape of Underbelly.
He is in a tough line of work. Mistakes are not tolerated.
