Hair Conversion M to F and reverse

Hello,

I'm noticing that sometimes when using a hair product, the pose controls go away when the product wasn't made for the exact figure being used (usually from F to M.) Are there any converters out there to handle a change from F to M and the reverse? I have both the Hair Converter's from G3F to G8F and G3M to G8M. I just want to go between the genders.

Thanks

Illy

If it's long hair just change the Scene Identification, then fit as normal.

If that doesn't work for you, there are these products:

    https://www.daz3d.com/genesis-3-cross-figure-resource-kit

You can also just load the hair without the figure selected and then parent it to the head, too.

Hello, I'm not sure what this means: 'change the Scene Identification.' Can this be elaborated upon?

Thank you. I have the first product. I'll take a look at it. I'd forgotten about it.

Each conforming object hss a Scene Identifier, so that it knows what to associate that item with.

The limited difference between Genesis 3 and Genesis 8, along with Male/Females within that pool, have allowed some people to simply change that Scene Identifier tag to apply Hair/Clothing in the entire Genesis 3/8 pool especially to Genesis 8 figures. It get s a little wonky with the T/A pose difference, but there are ways around it if you look on the forum.

Anyway, load the Hair into the scene, then Edit -> Object/Figure -> Scene Identifier. Just flip it to your preferred model and then try Fit To...

The attached image gives you an idea where to go to do it

You can also just parent it to the head rather than fitting to
