As determined as DAZ marketing seems to be to make shopping at this store less simple, who knows? It's not like either search system worked well so maybe they're being replaced with something that's more functional.
It's still there in the code, but its visibility is set to hidden for some reason. If you disable that hidden setting, it comes back.
I don't know how to change it to unhidden, but easy way if you need to search, is go to view > page style > no style. Will look ugle as hell, but the search will be up there lol
It's still there in IE11.
I honestly don't know what they are doing. Shopping is much more difficult since they changed the banner which is a HUGE pain for mobile users. I have to screenshot the banner before it disappears to get the coupon codes or even be able to read it. I have all the old Daz Originals I need that come from that same pool of freebies and now this. I think I will start doing more shopping at other stores. Not that I still need any digital content at all at this point. But it used to be fun to shop here. I bought things I didn't need because it was fun. Now it's just getting too difficult...
And when they do things like this, they should warn people: Sorry, but we've temporarily disabled search or we've permanently disabled search, then explain WHY. Like good parents explain WHY they do something when they do something that seems illogical or even punitive.
It's being fixed.. aka it's not intentional.

Speak for yourself. The most I would agree to is that the new banner is annoying in a different way than the old setup, but it’s definitely not worse.

I’m using Chrome on iOS, and the search box hasn’t gone anywhere.
I just checked Chrome and it's gone there as well. At this point it's probably missing for everyone.

Search button is working for me in Chrome, both in Win10 (PC) and Android (phone).
I wonder if DAZ has been working on fixing the store product search, which has been iffy for years. Wouldn't that be nice?
