I just scanned through "Captain America: The First Avenger" and could not find any scene with Red Skull getting a portrait. Are you sure that's the right movie? I found it on Amazon PrimeVideo and have a susbscription so it's free for me. If it's another movie in the series I may have to rent it. Can you point to the approximate time into the movie so I don't have to watch or scan the whole thing?
Yup I am sure it's the right movie ......... I'll try to get the time ....... it about 15 minutes in ,my version is recorded off the TV so gotta give or take 5 minutes , I think the scoree was also used in the movie Excaliber ......
found a cute lookin prime show
remember born free with the lions?
The driver for my dual band wifi adapter crashed. I need to use my old 2.4 GHz adapter now. I like 5 GHz though. Time to go shopping for a new adapter that has 5 GHz capability.
the movies showing cavemen and dinosaurs were hogwash?
is it safe to say there were no mammals and dinosaurs together?
There were mammals in the time of the dinosaurs, but not primates.
Little splayed legged rat-like furry critters that ran between the toes of the dinosaurs. They lived in holes in the ground. That's why they survived what wiped out the dinosaurs. Avoided the blast & fires, didn't eat much. Probably feasted on roast and rotten dinosaurs for months/years afterward.
Mmmmm...with barbeque sauce...
Why not just get an updated driver?

The first time I heard "O Fortuna" in a movie was in "Excalibur (1981)". Oddly... I don't remember "O Fortuna" being used in "Conan The Barbarian (1982). Not saying it wasn't in the movie. I just don't remember it. The first time I was exposed to "Camina Burana" was as a child listening to a vinyl recording of the work in my father's record collection. Still one of my favorate pieces of music. I think you would enjoy my father's record collection.
I suppose it is one of the reasons why I like "Cantus Buranus & Cantus Buranus II by Corvus Corax".My musical tastes are quite eclectic. I listen to classical, world music, celtic, rock, metal, electric industrial, dark country, caberet, etc. Which could explain things also.
I've been enjoying "Yuve Yuve Yu by The Hu" of late, among other things,... which seems to have been fairly popular recently.
Hmmm... I couldn't find it either. I do seem to remember there being a portrait scene, though. Will look again.
Well, I think I remember "O Fortuna" in "Conan The Barbarian", but my ageing memory has played tricks on me before. However, I definitely remember the incident in the record shop. The actual song in the movie may have been one of the other small powerful pieces from "Carmina Burana" or perhaps the "O Fortuna" piece was used in one of the other Conan movies of the time. But I definately remember knowing that "Carmina Burana" was the piece I was looking for once I heard the attendant say it. Memories, wonderful, mysterious, twisted things.

Ah, yes, "Sigfreid's Funeral March" from Wagner's opera "Gotterdammerung". Incredibly powerful music. Sends chills up my spine everytime I hear it. Intense use of musical swells, they tend to 'splode your brain.
Need volume, lots of volume and bass, lots of bass. Rattle the walls.

Regarding the Red Skull portrait scene in "Captain America", did anybody actually find the scene in a YouTube video or anywhere else? Perhaps it was cut out for some versions? Perhaps licensing issues over the music? Not really a Captain America fan but I'd like to actually see the scene.
It's about 15 minutes into the movie .... and it's only like 3-4 minutes section ,which is why fast forwarding you miss it .it is there . It comes right after the scene of the night before Rogers gets enhanced , if that's a help?
Chris Evans enhanced. hey yeah honey buns
