whenever I post a question it goes to the bottom of the page and whoever posts after me gets the top of the new page; effectively ignoring my posts.

  • Minor complaint out of left field... Recently started enjoying music again, and wishing I could have attended "Corvus Corax - Cantus Beranus II" live last year.

WARNIG: Contains Bagpipes, Symphony, and Chorus. Just in case that isn't your thing. cheeky

Good grief... I've forgotten how to post an image that acts as a link to a Youtube video. Been away too long. sad

Its sun, sun, and more sun here. The wet overcast suddenly went into hiding, and I'm starting to miss it.

Complaint:   After finally getting into the city to do laundry this morning I discovered that I'd forgotten to bring a roll of quarters for the machines, and the only cash I had with me was a $20 bill.  So I got change from the coin changer.  80 freakin' quarters.frown  So, while my clothes were swimming and tumbling in the tropic breezes I toddled over to the drugstore and other places.  After I'd bought all the things I needed, and fed all the laundry machines, I'd whittled down my bulging pocket of quarters to a manageable level.

Non-complaint:  Wheee... I discovered a dollar today.  I always resolve my financial spreadsheet after spending money and somehow today somebody miscounted and I ended up with an extra dollar.cool  I believe it was the girl at the DollarStore where I got a pack of shaving razors.  I'd dumped the quarters from my pocket onto the counter and she thought that she'd be faster if she counted it as she picked it up.  I think she got ahead of herself.  I was watching but she had so much trouble getting the nearly $8 of quarters off the rubberized counter that we both got confused.  I trusted her count and we both were satisfied.  I was happier after I got home and resolved my spreadsheet.cheeky

I don't think I'm gluten sensitive, I never have been before. But then I was also never allergic to penicillin, until I was. -_- And it's definitely not statin myopathy, a quick google tells me that affects your muscles. It's definitely my joints. Maybe I have arthritis?

Non-complaint:  Listening to Rachmaninoff "Second Piano Concerto" again.  heartheartheart  So many wonderful melodies and mind massages.  A palace of sound.  It never stagnates.  It's continually going places and you can't help but follow along to so many beautiful rooms and heights.  I find this particular recording very captivating.  The beginning seems slower than many performances but captures the mood instantly.

Rachmaninoff:  2nd Piano Concerto https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aNMlq-hOIoc  38 minutes of bliss.
