Complaint: I foolishly/not so foolishly started backing up all my content to an external drive. The raft of installers was pretty quick. Then I started on the main "Content" folder. Argh! "Copying 1,379,736 items from Content to Content"...

    crying

Actually, eSATA. The large installer zip files went really fast, maybe 60GB in a few minutes. It's the huge number of small files that slow this part down.

Don't feel that way... That's like pretty much what all jeans are now... "Flexible-Fit" or some variation of that... when I buy jeans I have to go to several stores to finally find anything "non-stretch". The store gods decided it's stretchy or nothing.

I got a package yesterday but the staff still has it for some reason I am not sure. I thought it was a best buy package but best buy tracking said that came in today. I got one Saturday but I have good guesses that it was a gift that Misty sent for my birthday. I am so confused.

To break the boredom and to take a forbidden risk, I've ordered a large (14 slices) pizza to be delivered.  Costs an arm and a leg, but I have a spare of each.  Mmmm, pizza!  Hot, fresh, mushrooms, sausage, black olives.  Mmmm! heart  Will eat two slices then freeze the rest.  It's the only thing I can get delivered way out here, even when not in quarantine.  Local town restaurant has closed its dining room and now offers takeout but not delivery,  Next closest restaurant still operating has takeout also but "Uber Eats" doesn't deliver this far out of the city.  So, I'm left with delivery of the yummiest most expensive pizza in the area.  Decadence. devil  What the heck, It's only money and I could be dead next week.frown

posting complaint on behalf of bluejays

hard to tell what the complaint is, but certainly sounds complaintworthy

Non-complaint:  Pizza arrived.  Mmmm, pizza!  At the prospect of meeting another human being in person, I actually shaved and put on a clean, collared shirt.  I hope she appreciated it.

Pizza was pre-cut into 15 slices.  I always wrap two pieces into a single piece of plastic wrap for freezing.  I ate two, packaged six sets of two, and had a slice left over.   Arghhh, quandry, frown  Hmmm, what to do, what to do?  Should I wrap it singly or bust my "diet" and eat it?

Hint: I no longer have a problem.  Mmmm, pizza! heart

Thunderbolts and lightning, very very frightening... (actually I like it)... Gallileo, Gallileo, Gallileo, Gallileo, Gallileo Figaro... magnifico...

No mention of hail there... crazy, crazy weather out there... Heavy rain and pea sized hail... was a brief tornado warning... then they stopped mentioning it... so...? Do I put my tornado hat on or just forget about it?

Went out to the porch-like thing we have out front to check for horizontal rain... no squirrels blowing by horizontally... hail stopped so I guess I can't wear my tornado hat... big lighting storm and lots o' thunder... Thor must be nearby... Megh... I hope he doesn't wanna visit. I put my Viking helmet away and I don't feel like looking for it it now.

Earlier I went over to L.I. Hardware near Johnson Ave, by the fabled MacArthur aerodrome and nabbed a half-mask respirator and (drumroll...) a friggin' sack of hand sanitizer... I guess it's meant to go in one of those automatic dispensers... looks like it's medical grade too and now I'm wondering why they had it... I also nabbed paper towels at Staples on the way back... and hemp inhanced hand sanitizer... Groovy.

What the flippity flux... the sun is out...

    Confusing...

    Thor is rumbling and sunshine...

    Anywhooz...

Those painted denim jackets you mentioned... back in high school that was a side racket of mine... I used to get about $125 each... good money at the time... also people would give the album to copy the artwork from and I'd copy the record onto tape... half my music was procured that way back then... also realized I liked Springsteen because of that.... nowadays music police would take me away for piracy...

    Yarrrrr.

I guess the storm is over... Well...  Back to whatever the hell I was up to before Thor passed through.

Wales is tradtionally non-conformist chapel, rather than Anglican, but why would you need to convert anyway? We don't have religious requirements.

Ezpizkelepailians are a species of sentient vaguely arachnid-like aliens that sorta look like jumping spiders with pants... very good natured, but absolutely the worst sense of humor. They also love hats and novelty squirt toys for some reason. I never delved into their religious beliefs, but they seemed to enjoy dancing and really loved AC/DC's "shook me all night long", though I don't think they got the gist of the lyrics.

LG   it's normally you posting links to major classical works,   but I found this one on YouTube,  and it is totally amazing version. She performs it at a different tempo to normal
Chinese-American female conductor,  The National Orchestra of Wales The BBC National Chorus of Wales and the CBSO CHoir and some stunning soloists

Yeah, sometimes different aspects of a piece emerge when played at different speeds.  Quite enjoyable.yes

The Normandy landings, aka D Day, were WWII. The Norman Conquest was 1066 (and All That). It's important not to get them muddled.

D day was at the end?

D for deliverance or doomsday.  i read a lot of the footage they showed us was actually filmed in New Jersey.

and nostradamas was propaganda to feed hitler's superstitions.

hoe'd s girl supposed to find the truth?

D Day was not the end, nor the beginning of the end, but it was the end of the beginning (as I recall)
