    My word of the day.

    Quintessence:

1- In medieval cosmology, one of the classical fundamental elements, the fifth element that fills the universe beyond the terrestrial sphere.

2- In modern physics, a hypothetical form of dark energy used to explain the accelerated expansion of the universe.

3- The refined extract of something.

4- The most typical example of a class, character or thing.

Used in a sentence:  "The baffle plate from the transdisconspragulator fell off, leaking quintessence particles into the aether dissipator chamber."

My wife and I watched two David Cronenberg movies last night: 1988's Dead Ringers, and 1986's The Fly. Cronenberg had a cameo in both movies, which is nothing unusual, but in the former, he was a gynecologist, and an obstetrician in the latter. I don't really have anything to say about that, it just seemed super weird to me.

atruggling to find something to watch.  right now is between Marmaduke and Behind Enemy Lines.

seems a stretch but they both owen wilson.

when amazon prime says free with ads, they mean many, many ads.  horrible torturous ads.  they like desparate for a date with that al pacino thing.

I dreamed I coldn't find my shoes, and that my glasses fell apart (metal rims, which I haven't worn in 20 years). Weird because I rcently had my cataracts fixrd and only need those reading glasses you can buy in pharmacies. And I didn't lose my shoes.

My TV just broke.  I am trying to figure out what to do to replace it.  I might be able to do so if I get some money soon.  What type of tv do you recommend?

computer power supply fan is so loud!  Or maybe something inside the power supply is vibrating?  The noise becomes worse when I render something or play a game.  I will need to replace the power supply before I play with Daz Studio, Poser 9 or Vue again.  The fan speed for the CPU heatsink looks normal. edited for clarity.
