Whats with the check out basket?
I add a ton of stuff, like the prices, click the cart, go to buy it; BAM - PRICE INCREASES!
I go back, the prices in cart look right, I refesh the cart, then all of a sudden the prices are double!
Seriously, I've almost been skimmed for over $200 just tonight. What gives?

The hour or so around the switchover time (Daz Midnight, which is around right now), the cart prices can be in flux like that because the sales are changing over to the new day's sales. It's almost always a good idea to shop at least 30 min to an hour before switchover time or wait for at least an hour after switchover for the prices to settle.
It is just after midnight in Daz's time zone, when the store deals and banners change over. The store is very unstable for a couple hours after. Wait a few hours and try again. This is a known glitch.
Everyone is outraged when they first encounter this, but as time goes on you learn to accept it as 'quirky' and take it in stride. Welcome aboard! :)
Yeah in general I've generally seen the price of my Daz purchases jumping by about 1% between the cart page and the checkout page. No doubt this has something to do with a 'rounding error' but this really should be corrected. It wasn't happening to me before, only in the last few months or so.
As for prices doubling, etc. yeah that happens occasionally too. This is why I recommend pausing for a few seconds on the checkout page to let the prices 'settle' just in case.
The store software is long overdue for an overhaul, as there are routinely a lot of glitches, which just add to the customer service workload due to all the tickets and such that result from incorrect calculations, etc. The cost of all the CS man hours saved alone should more than offset the cost of fixing the software, not to mention the recouped revenues that are lost when people dump their carts in frustration and give up.
I'm usually sleeping during the change-over, so I've missed the fun. If the cart seems squirrelly, I wait a while before buying. I've noticed a lot of one-penny weirdness. Often as not, it ends up in my favor.
Always be prepared to settle your accounts by end of day, i.e., midnight in Utah, where Daz is based. And check your totals at checkout. Oh, and remember: There's always another sale.
