Jessi HD without Josephene?

Could someone who has purchased Jessi HD for Josephene 8 do a render for me with Josephene dialed out?

Thank you!

Here is one I did just now. I didn't get Josephine so it's just Jessi.

    Computer Generated Female named Jessi

Hey Nylongirl, I thought Josephene was a required product for Jessie? Are you able to load her without Josephene?

When a character is a required product like that it means that if you want the character to look like in the promos, it needs that required product as well.

In this example, if you want Jessie to look like in the promos, you need Josephene. Without Josephene she looks like NylonGirl posted. Different, but still interesting.

What these morphs do is they modify the shape of the base figure. You can see above how the Jessie morph is modifying the G8 shape. This moprh combined with the Josephene 8 morph will result in the look you see in the promos for Jessie.

I hope I was clear enough, if not, please feel free to let me know and I can explain it further and even give examples with renders.

Hey Alex86fire, thank you so much for that excellent explanation! That's awesome news! I had always presumed if you tried to load these characters without the required base being installed you'd just get error messages and a deformed morph, similar to what I've personally experienced when I've sculpted a model/scene on my laptop and then move it across to my dedicated rendering PC without remembering to install all of the required morph dials on the PC as well. Awesome that's not the case! Thank you so much for taking the time to inform me :)

@Nylongirl -- so interesting to see Jessie as you've presented her above!

That's a lot nicer than the intended use, @Nylongirl .

You will get an 'error' message when loading the character but all it will tell you is the missing morph files from Josephene. Just click OK in the window and the character of Jessi (or whoever) will still load into your scene.

What I usually do to not receive that message is load a basic genesis 8 character and dial in the morph I want. No error then. And you also get to see how she looks at less than 100%, maybe combine her with other chars for an even better look. Possibilities are endless.

Yes, that works too if you want to avoid the error. I only mentioned the error because lana_lass was concerned about them. :-)

And thank you for doing so @Iwaves :)

It seems very odd to me that they would create a teen girl based on a base character that is meant as an older more muscular action character.

What % of Josephine is dialled in for Karma?

Edit: Sorry I was talking about Karma, not Jessi.

^ Hey havos! I've actually created a new thread on this and requested an image of Karma with Josephene dialed out... https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/394456/the-dial-them-out-thread#latest
