Question about Faveral's L'Elegante vehicle

Under "Notes" on the product page for Faveral's L'Elegante, it says:

"This models is rigged for Poser only"

It says at the top, though: "Compatible Software: Poser, DAZ Studio."

So, if you know, what is the "rigged for" caveat about? Does that just mean I can't "pose" the wheels and the steeriing wheel in Daz Studio? Does is mean I won't be able to move them at all?

I suspect it shouldn't list DS, but I will send  query in.

I have it, and it works perfectly well in Studio 4.12, as far as I can tell. There's a slider to make the wheels spin and the steering wheel turn, and the steering wheel turns the wheels. Studio didn't choke or crash either when I moved the sliders or when I rendered it.

It's only in the Poser runtime, not in the Studio section. I didn't see any PMD files that need injecting. The MATs are all pure Poser -- no .DS/DSA sidecars. If you're using Iray, you may want to use some carpaint shaders on the color sections. (It may be the first primarily Poser thing I've seen that actually looks dull in Studio, as opposed to Incredibly Shiny.

    Iray render attached.

It's old enough to be legacy rigged. Not weightmapped.

Thanks, vwrangler. Very helpful to have a hands-on report.

Yes, that does look pretty dull, dunnit? I think you're probably right, though: If I can give it the Uber Base treatment and some of the car paint shaders I have, it might polish up real well. With its price point, I can't go too far wrong.

Here is one rendered in Iray using some iray uber shaders.

Thanks, Rakker. That looks great, at least for my purposes. I will definitely pick it up.

Was this available at another store? I'm sure I remember having it in my content a while back, probably when I was still only using Poser, but I definitely haven't bought it from DAZ. And now I can't find it anywhere among my collection of installers.

I think, it was originally sold at RDNA store.
