    I'm interested alright. :D

  • edited December 1969

Okay. Give me a few days to get everything in order, and I'll post it over in Rendo's freebies section.

Here's a Romana (Mary Tamm) morph I've been working on for Victoria 4. It's all dial-spun from the V4++ Morphs.

    Anyone interested?

    I would be interested too!!!

Sorry it took me so long, but, it is posted at Rendo, awaiting approval. Once it's approved, I'll provide a link here.

And it's on the front page now, too.

The Key to Time was the first Doctor Who I ever watched, back in '05. I think I have to give Gerald Day (of fast3d.co.uk) credit for the introduction, though.

    Sheesh...you are such a 'newbie'...

When I was a kid, my local PBS station would run the current Dr Who season (and older stuff on occasion, too)...and I 'discovered' it in the mid-70s, slightly before Mary was on. I remember the switch from Sarah Jane to Leela...and Romana, too...I was watching very regularly then. Didn't like Leela very much, but loved Sarah Jane and Romana...

BTW: What texture you used for it?

I used HR Design's Donna (which I think was a freebie) that I modified for the character (lightened the skin, added the mole, added blush around the cheeks).

I see you're working upon a new DW likeness, the much beloved Sarah Jane Smith. It looks great so far!

If you're wanting additional references, then may I recommend this little gallery?

    http://warriorsgate.deviantart.com/gallery/33031571

It's Sarah created in ZBrush. The expression may be a bit more "pouty" than you want for a "neutral" face, but hopefully it can be of some service.

    Sincerely,

    Bill

    Good!!!

    My notes:
Round up the tip of the nose (A bit hard but it can be done)
Try to make the chin abit wider (it's abit to narrow for her)
Eyes needs to move slightly down and abit bigger.
Make the face slightly more rounder (maybe fix the angle of her jaw)
And try multiple textures for a light skin to get her youthful look and eyebrows...

Thanks, MGHSFAN2k. Good suggestions! I tried what you had listed (except for the eyes. The eyes were in the right spot, but, I did increase the "define brows" and lowered the height of the nose just a smidge.)

Anywho... I think we're entering the homestretch...

Okay, this is IT! ...FINAL! ...DONE!

I'm gonna have to release this one differently. Because I had to use "extreme measures" to get some features right, I'm going to include geometries for the head and neck, and they're are going to have to be loaded as morph targets.

    Anywho...

Please note that is it against the DAZ 3D EULA to distribute the geometry of any figure, however modified it is.

Noted. I'll have to include a list of all the morphs I used to create it.

It has been suggested that maybe you could investigate using RTE encoder, It is also possible to code somehow against the original geometry using UVMapper, but I have no idea how you do that, although I can manage to decode all Lyne's morphs that she does this way. Maybe she could help you. http://www.lynescreations.com/lynesfree.htm

However if you are using standard morphs, rather than your own, you need to share a pose or preset to apply them rather than the raw data.

Well, I went back and was able to duplicate what I did with V4 Morphs++ and i13 BOOM Nose System. So, Project: SJS is still on.

Romana needs to find her way. Here's a prop for her.

I guess it's moot since it was recreated from dialed morphs, but the custom morphs could have been been distributed as a delta injection. This is how most commercial characters are distributed.

She looks great either way. I don't have the Boom nose system, tho.....
