In my attached image, under the already existing list of things, can I somehow add folders here? Like a folder for Favorites? Or a folder to hold something else, like the content I use for a particular project, or content I use very often? Can I add just an alias for the product, instead of moving content in and out of folders?
Thanks!

How about under Categories, right-click and "Create a Sub-Category" called Favorites. Then make a new sub-categories for whatever you want. Then go to the product under DAZ Studio Formats, or Poser Formats, and right-click on the folder you want to add to your new favorite category, and select "Create Category From..." Navigate to the new favorite place in the "Select a Parent Category" tree-view pop-up and Accept. Don't worry about getting it right the first time, you can move those favorites around without disturbing the file locations.
For setting up Favorites I use this: https://www.daz3d.com/mf-content-bookmarks
It's such a timesaver!
You can use this script for favorite folders.

Just change the last line to the folder you want. I keep mine on a toolbar for handy access.
+1.
it's a real gamechanger.
