Pattern Hair for Genesis 3 and 8 problem

Pattern Hair on G8F has also in the shortest hair length single long hairs.

I found no parameter to handle this. Is there any solution (and perhaps reason for it)?

    I'm not seeing this, have you used the preset to remove the 'top hair'?

    I only adjusted lengths to minimum
