is Victoria 8 and gen 8 the same thing?

Hey i was gonna buy a thing from a site, but it says it's for victoria 8. is that genesis 8 or? i'm out of the loop hehe

    Victoria 8 is a morph on Genesis 8.

    So when another says it it requires Victoria 8, it means the creator is building further on, on the Victoria 8 morph (so technically also a Genesis 8 character).

    You might be able to use that character without having Victoria 8, but she will look differently, due to not having the Victoria 8 morph.
