why can I not restore a sub category?

why can I not restore a sub category?

I played around with the glute controller and wanted to reset them via right click (lucky there is a included script which I found to do it...)

The red+blue arrow marked options do both restore the selected figure... so it jumps away to the Zero point...

Do I miss something or is it just a missing feature, which is the reason, yhw the creators have to create scripts to zero it?

Glute Control has its own resets in the Genesis 8 Female/Poses/Glute Control Pose & Puppeteer folder and will only affect those controls. Your first graphic shows options for any control slider, if you want to change them for some reason. The second graphic is for generic parameter operations and are common to everything. The Restore function will restore a figure to either the last memorized pose and/or shape, or, if it was not memorized, to the default pose and/or shape, including translation, rotation and scaling. You can memorize them using the menu item immediately above Restore to memorize the current pose and/or shape if you want to get back to it without starting over. When you change a value, it turns white. When you memorize, it turns grey. Restoring puts back the memorized values after you change them again. Restore is not the same as Reset, or Zero. You can select the entire figure, or only some of the bones, to memorize, restore or zero.
