    I wonder what percentage of sales support tickets are the result of Daz's consistently cryptic ad copy or missing/late banners? Surely there is a resident anal retentive who could whip the front end into shape so the back end can have more time for unavoidable customer service.

    They have.  Besides the obvious Asian sets for the various Lees and Mei Lins, and the sci-fi sets like Zelara and Nix, Rune 7, Gianni 6 and Elios 8 were all pitched with all barbarian/fantasy bundles, Lilith 6 had an occult theme, Scott 6 was an action her, and then there are the anime sets.  The problem is, though, that everytime that DAZ has done this, the end result is almost inevitably that the people who aren't into that particular theme then complain about how there's nothing that o...

    The problem with themed bundles is that they lack a hook to snag buyers who aren't interested in that specific theme. That's why the Pro and Starter bundles are always anchored by the character morph. A bundle of themed content without a character to anchor it, will sell to people who are into that particularltheme. But it won't sell anything like as much as one which has an actual character to apply the theme to. Even the little PA bundles that we see from time to time, are nearly always anchored by a character.

    The PC used to do theme bundles which weren't character based, and they were reasonably popular, but at PC prices people will buy things that they might not at "normal" prices. And at that there was a lot of whining in the forums from people who had no real interest in the current theme.

    (I would happily line up for a bundle of refits of some of those classic PC themes. Particularly the 1930s or 1950s stuff.)

    Good job Daventaki. It looks like any of Darcy's add-ons are quite cute with no Darcy involved.

    I don't need another female and I didn't buy her, but if I did, it would be just for the one character, Aniyah. She is a pretty one. But she's the only thing in the bundle (including Darcy herself), that even remotely interested me.

    some of the others never seem to go away and are prerequisites for stuff for weeks so yes that's odd, that said I don't jump and buy any of the genesis 8 stuff now but will pick them up on sale later so not an issue for me.

    What I was thinking was a little different ... maybe accompanying (authentic, well–done) props included as add–ons to the bundle ... plus there are themes not yet well done, or not done at all, or needing an overhaul. Case in point: Native American characters for G8, awesomely authentic cloths ( if you can believe it ... the last were for M4!!!!), and an overhaul of the tepees, weapons ... maybe a child carrying strap, contraption for hauling belongings by horse, funeral pyre ... you name it. All of which would be an insta–buy for me.

    I think the previous characters, like Monique, etc didn’t look sorta toonish or artificial, but more life like, authentic, real ... will be passing on this one.

    I just picked up the pro bundle for $16.15 using my $6 off PC membership. I came across the fact her pro bundle is 83% off right now by chance and don't even know which sale it is under or how long the deal will last. I won't be able to render any pictures until Tuesday at the earliest, but hope this sell will inspire more renders to be posted to this thread soon.
