Really, Daz Forums ain't got no love for Darcy 8? OK, I wanted a man, too. But she's different; her Pro Bundle is absolutely stocked with great looking gear (thanks Mada! and sade!), and she has tons of cousins to choose from. Of course, I didn't expect to be using my store credit for a new Core Character so soon, but tricky Daz is offering 30% off Gift Cards with a purchase of however many add-ons. But, doh!, I have to use real money to buy everything then. Oh well.
Thanks for the nappy hair, @Divamakeup. It looks great. But I need a hair cap to smooth out the hairline. I'll look in AprilYSH's hairs for one. This is the level of excellence that I missed on Robyn 8's Pro Bundle. But I haven't seen what Darcy's skin REALLY looks like yet.

I'll add that with the way the discounts stack, if you're picking up DOs that are also in one of the sales linked on the page, the $50 of content for picking up the bundle and three add-ons can actually cover a heck of a lot, because those items get the increased discount for having a new item in the cart, as well as your loyalty discount, so that $50 can go a long way. And it's not split into loads of tiny categories of select items like sometimes, which is a massive plus.
Even if you're fairly burnt out on female content, it is a pretty solid promo offer.
Gravity isn't necessarily the only reason for dForce - one problem I've had with afro-textured hair on models is that its volume can often cause it to collide with other objects. For example, hugging another character will often involve the hair visibly clipping through the other character's head. So afro hair with collisions is potentially pretty useful.
Amazing! Iwould be buying todayif I could, but so happy to see a really cool release from DAZ after several bland characters. For the first time I actually prefer soe of the add-on characters, They even have better skins. Really excited to pick this up and some extras.
Not really interested in Darcy, but I did want Keiko 6 megabundle, which was on sale today, so by buying Darcy pro, and three add ons, I got Keiko and a number of add ons for her for around the same price as what Keiko was going to cost by herself. Very nice. And it won't hurt to have Darcy either. I really love a sale where the more you add, the cheaper it gets!

Look at these textures! And Mada makes the best pants ever. Oh, and Luthbel (but he hasn't made pants in a long, long, long time). Plus, Mada puts beaucoup morphs in her pants too.
I'm getting her as soon as I get paid, also Monique finally (I have 6 and 7 but not 8 yet).
What does the gift card mean? It says get a gift card, is it 30 percent off a gift card? if you buy Darcy with 3 addons?
I think that's four number 8 characters with pro bundles this month! The usual release rate is two a month.
She is a nice character but I'm still considering whether to buy her.

As mentioned, the discounts and credit really stack up. Using the monthly Platinum Club coupon I got 3 G8 pro bundles and 8 add-ons for $62 .41 products in total. Using store credit from a well-discounted gift card. Can't argue with that much value for money. Now to find a use for it all.

Really nice character, really great companion characters and excellently appropriate hairs - the clothes would be nothing more than novelty items for me though, I don't do contemporary scenes much - Plus two outfits with platform boots? Was there a Prince fan convention on?
I'm really rather tempted by the price with a couple of add-ons alone.

Diva's hair is absolutely awesome and Darcy's morph is incredible!!! I've been dying for her to be released so we can show the love! Some characters are just so fun to work with and Darcy's base shape was very detailed and well crafted it was impossible not to work with her... Made some of my most over favorite promos with her :) Siya has customized 3DL mats as well....
And this is just combining Siya/Darcy with a bit of Kanade because its cute

Darcy 8 is definitely VERY nice, but she's now the 4th (?) woman in a row... The clothing is - well, so-la-la; same with the hair, but I like the add-on characters. She doesn't have the extremely pouting lips of Monique 8; that's fine. I would have liked some Samsil hair for her - they make simply the best African hair.

The dForce Darcy 8 Hair might just be Samsil hair. I assumed it was. It looks like his. But he no longer puts his name on his products sold here.
Darcy 8 is great devation from the norm! Thanks to the PA's and Daz team for creating a great core character. The first day deals really stacked up well when purchasing the pro version and some addions. Darcy also came at a perfect holiday time for my Loyalty bonus and with a half off HD addion this purchase was a no brainer. Totally stoked that christmas came early this year

Much praise to Divamakeup for the hair styles. Great character pack with tremendous add-ons. Sale stacking worked well for me. Two enthusiastic thumbs up.

This release was right on que for me. I was going to work on a couple of new dial spun ebony ladies this weeknd for my current project. Wake up to not only new ones available with great discounts/deals but very lovely variations out of the box! Good job!
I suspect that the Loyalty Bonus, which is also based on past purchasing we assume, is seen as the equivalent of a Purple Banner for past purchases.

Maybe it's just me, but I think this whole pro bundle idea has gone out of hand. It seems like every 2 weeks Daz is pushing a new "core" character, that are not even HD and cost double the normal characters, and a bunch of addon characters that need that new "core" character as a base. This is just silly. Personally I think 10-12 ( both men and women ) core characters is plenty enough to build a diverse DNA base to build upon.
