anyone here can help me with an STL file?

I was 3d priotning a part and it got knocked off around 90% into the print. I was already over 9 hours into it and do not want to print the entire part again.
It is possible to edit the STL file, or maybe just use the part of the model that still needs to be printed, but my 3D modeling skills are next to zero and I would like to get this project completed.

So I have the file and a part of it needs to be cut off and then the remainder set up for 3d printing.

Can anyone do this for me or possible tell me what needs to be done? I just downloaded and installed Blender, but that is going to take me a long while to learn. I can DL Hexagon as well.

There is a free app called meshmixer that will let you slice an object then it will fill the newly created hole for you to make the object solid again.

All you have to do is select the slice option then move the plane where you want to slice it.
