Does anyone use Everyday Hair Style for Genesis 8 Male(s) ?

And if you do, are there any prerequisite softwares required?  There was no mention of it on the Renderosity page, it says "Daz Studio 4.10 + (required for dForce)...I understood that as if you use it on dForce you need to have Daz Studio 4.10 or higher, do they actually mean I require dForce for the Everyday Hair Style to work in Daz Studio (I have version 4.12)?

Every time I try to use it, I get a pop-up message that there a files missing / DAZ can't find the required files!

I use it all the time. I've never seen an error message associated with it, and I don't think it's set up for dForce at all, so I don't know why it would list dForce as a requirement.

edit: weird. I just added a G8M to an empty scene, put this hair on him, and ran a simulation. The simulation ran, meaning that there was a dForce item in the scene, but nothing seemed to happen.

I guess I'll try to reinstall it, beats me how it tells me it can't find the necessary folders?

How did you install it? Did you merge the Data, People, and Runtime folders with the corresponding folders in your DS Library? Also, what files can it not find? Textures? Data files?

The "required for dforce" phrase is generic on Rendo when a vendor/freebie creator chooses Daz Studio 4.10+ as the required software. It doesn't mean that the item is dforce-able.

Manually installed, data to data, People to people, etc...I might have missed one!  I'll try again tonight! (I work evening shift ;) )

It does use dForce, and it does something.  Floyd on the left after simulation, and Floyd on the right before simulation.

based off this thread, I just d/led it, extracted the zip file like I do all rendo zips and it installed fine. Loaded up a default GM8 and then the hair, no issues. ran a simulation and the hair does have dforce properties and the sim ran fine.
