Overcharged $410 on last cart! Watch out for fluctuating prices.

Argh!  The checkout cart SAID $60, but somehow the DAZ store charged me full price on all the PC for a day products, zipping the draw from my store credit to nearly $410.00. I submitted a help ticket, but the morale of the story is - check your invoices carefully and don't trust the DAZ store.  This seems to be happening a LOT more lately.

Take a screenshot every time in PayPal before you hit submit

bit late I know but I do this every transaction now as the overcharged invoice is no proof in itself

It was store credit, not PayPal, fortunately.

Ouch! As someone that's happened to before, I feel your pain. Hope they clear it up soon. I dunno if it's Magento or what it is, but this place really need to do a store revamp. Daz is the only place that little switcheroo during checkout has EVER happened to me.

At least easier for them to fix

its still not fun for you though (hugs)

the time on paypal for me was fortunately a small amount too but served as a warning

I too will use store credit for potentially big stuff ups that will overdraw my bank now

What I do is open a second tab with the shopping cart. Check out on one of them, and verify the invoice. If there's a problem, you have the second one still showing the original cart (don't refresh, or you're toast), which you can then capture for further action.

Yeah but I mean, wtf, it's 2019, DAZ fix your website!

  • They've known about this issue for at least six and a half years (My first ticket about it was in March 2013), and it hasn't been fixed. Don't hold your breath.

  • All I want to know is who do I have to make friends with to get a $400 store credit? ????????
