Looking for a pale female Genesis 8 texture, asking for suggestions.

I am currently working on a Genesis 8 female elf character for a project I am doing, and I need a pale skin for her, with or without freckles, either one works with this character.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, there are just so many out already and the ones I have at the moment just aren't exactly what I am looking for.
Daz or other stores work, it doesn't matter to me really where it is.

Thanks.

    I like Salem a lot - https://www.daz3d.com/salem-for-aiko-8

    Worth mentioning: Sirine - https://www.sharecg.com/v/89913/related/21/DAZ-Studio/SIRINE-for-G8F
Not my favourite skin but she's a freebie, so.

Ceridwen; Amira renders lighter than her promos (but also less photorealistically when using a different head morph).

If there is a figure you own and like, but don't find pale enough, don't forget that you can always try dialing down the Translucency Weight of her skin in the Surfaces tab.  It's hard to make recommendations about characters, since there are cutesy elves like Poppy or Zoe and there are LOTR elves of the types mentioned above.   One G3F elf-type who's sort of between those two that I really like is Annora by Maddelerium over at Renderosity, who's pretty pale but you may still need to make some adjustments to her skin.

I went through my listing of characters and picked out the ones I have marked with pale skin that I made a judgement call when I first bought her. Some might not appear that from the initial image, but on my screen, the skin was pale, as opposed to tanned. Others are designed to be elvish pale. And you can see, they come from a variety of PAs who all make quality work. Hope some of these help. Mary

Yes but I find shaders are not all that interchangeable

    texture maps certainly are

Ideally to find a pale texture you really should open up the zip file installer, and browse to the texture files, and look at the diffuse (ie color) textures. This will tell you if a skin texture is pale or not. Simply applying the character, and then rendering gives a very false impression as so much will depend on the shader settings and the lighting used that it really gives you no real idea about how truely light or dark the underlying texture is.

Or just look at them in your runtime textures folders

    I use Everything image search

    Yes, except:

    - Eyes

    - Lashes

    - All G3 base characters have different UVs. So for example Victoria 7 and Aiko 7 have their own UVs, but Ceridwen for G3 or Snowflake for Aiko 7 have the same UV as G8F. Complicated and illogical? Yes, yes it is.

I work in 3DL by preference, so this may not be much help. But I've found that the base settings for a lot of skins load as something well under 100% diffuse strength. Increasing the diffuse lightens the skin.  Increasing it too much will blow out the highlights, though.

OOPs yeah forgot to mention the type of elf. The type of elf is closer to the LOTR type of elves.

And there's this product, too, for any existing character you might own:

Here is still my favorite pale female skin material set: Snowflake for Aiko 7 by Virtual_Worlds.

A couple of notes of this product:

    a) As the material set is truly pale and renders that way, in renders in bright lights or from a distance she can appear toonish (which is my whole reason for liking her)

    b) There is a 'natural makeup setting' but that doesn't mean bare face with no makeup.

    c) As this was before Genesis 8 a materiel set without brows isn't available (you can use the brow remover product though).

I like it so much I would buy again if Virtual_Worlds did her again for Genesis 8 but with a browless option and a makeupless option.

It is a specific thing I am looking for okay? I am looking for a pale texture, which is different from just a "white female"

Funny thing is I have that one as well as a couple others that were listed above, I guess I am just too picky about this character and how she looks.

Thank you all for the suggestions, I bought

here just a while ago, and later on I will probably buy a few others to try them out as well.

If anyone else has any suggestions I would take them as well, as I can never have too many very pale textures, because i do a LOT of elf renders when I am rendering.

@Malandar, Genesis 3 and Genesis 8 use the same UVs, Base Female. However, the eyelashes and eye moisture, (formerly known as "tear") have been made into a separate mesh addon. To apply Genesis 3 materials to a Genesis 8 model, select both the figure and the addon, then double-clicking the material preset will apply the correct materials to both.

Genesis 3 named figures have UVs specific to those characters. To apply those materials to G8, you'll need those UVs. Fortunately, RedzStudio created products to solve that problem, one each for male and female.

All that said, and I realize I may be too late, I highly recommend the Skin Builder products. If you already own Skin Builder 3, you can create the pale skin exactly as you want, (including freckles) and apply it to your G8F, as this is allowed for personal use, (you're not selling the character.) Obviously Skin Builder 8 will work for you, as well. If you don't already own either product, and you regularly need unique skin, I recommend you take a close look at these.

    apologies.  tickled my funny lol

when i browse the new releases i usually like, oh another white girl.
i live in an etnically rich neighborhood.  i've heard girls say things like,
"uh uhh those pants too white girl"

Seconding Altern8! The second Aiko 8 preset with no maps will turn many pale skins near-white, although you may need to mess with the SSS and transparency colors if it comes out looking lifeless.

I just bought this figure a few days ago.  In the main promo and a couple of others she reminds me a little of Ruth Wilson.

Virtual_Worlds I think has a knack for doing typical people but not so not so typical in the DAZ Store.

Eyes will work if you manually load the textures
