Very nice. What skirt is that?

Thanks. Carhop. I turned opacity off on the waistband.

    She looks really cool!
Did you use a Sarah Michelle Geller morph for her?

Now that you mention it, she does look like Geller. Let me check.
    Genesis 1
    70% Basic Female
    30% Julie
    Skin texture is LY Montana.

That seems to be common with Saturn Girl renders... when I did mine (I'll re-include it here, though it was part of the thread on the old forum) I also wound up thinking she looked a lot like Sarah Michelle Geller.

They need to cast her in "The Legion of Super-Heroes" movie.
ETA: That's a great render, BTW. I'm not really up on the more recent Legion, but that uniform sure beats the stripper outfit (I know, someone will complain that they like the stripper outfit). Let me guess: Mike Grell? :cheese:

I was always a fan of the Mike Grell take on CB. His uniform intrigue me. Always wondered how in the world it managed to stay on his chest and not sag. LOL

The "Corset" suit? Not a fan, myself. The Legion superheroes were/are perpetual teenagers (except for a few stories about their adult selves). That version of the suit was definitely not age-appropriate, IMO. No arguments with the lavender suit really, but I remain solidly in the "original pink" suit camp.

At first glance I had imagined that "corset suit" to be pretty ridiculous but I had to see what would really look like so I used one of Joe Quick's quicksuits to do a quick and dirty look. Personally, doesn't work for me.

    Hi guys,

I'm looking for a really good (and free) Batman outfit, preferably from the modern era of movies. Got a friend that's a huge Batman fan and I want to make him a Christmas card featuring the said hero.

I have the really cool cowl on ShareCG but the outfits on there look a bit rubbish.

    Any ideas? Thanks in advance,
    Barry.

Thanks Rawn, I just found those actually. They might need a little jiggerypokery to work properly in DS but that's ok, I can jiggerypoke with the best of 'em!

Or I could just use Poser!

Either way, thanks for that. Found a cape too. Yay, I'm all set.

Wow! That is pretty fantastic! Do you have any plans on making something like this work with Genesis or G2M? I noticed that Alfaseed is starting to make some stuff for G2 so are we to assume that G2 is easier to build for than Genesis was?

It should work on Genesis if you switch the UVset to M4, or on G2M if you have http://www.daz3d.com/michael-4-for-genesis-2-male

It should work on genesis simply by changing the UV
I made that one for m4 and poser, because I made it on request for a friend of mine.
Genesis and G2 are much more versatile than the gen4 figures were...so I will be making stuff for both. I would not say that G2 is easier than genesis, they are very comparable....its just a matter of personal preference.

What is a good one click light setting that can be used for all scenes in poser 12?

Are there still going to be updates for Joe Quick’s Golden Age set?

Any news on Randell Lloyds release to the hero set for Genesis Supersuit?

And how many pieces of wood can a woodchuck chuck?

I've abandoned the idea of updating the Golden Age set. The additional pieces I made for it shortly after release just aren't that well done.

Any chance of releasing them with a caveat? I'm really a fan of the work you've done. If it's a really distinctive problem, I'm sure it's nothing a spot of postwork and some discreet camera work can't fix. ;-)

What I'd love to see is a Batman cowl made specifically for Genesis. Really surprised one hasn't been made already.

I saw it over there too and was thrilled as an original purchaser I was tickled to be able to get the expansion even if the were not up to JoeQ's standard. but heck every time I try to DL it I get a corrupted file and it must be just me. Cuz there are many positive comments about it ;) but I am noticing that this is a common problem for me if the files is too big. I wish It was in pieces. I'll bet I could get it then.

Hmmm, I just tried to download it and got an error as well.

I will update the upload to version with the textures stripped out, that will cut about 35mb out taking the zip size down to 75mb.

Well, I'm downloading the new zip right now to see if it makes the trip ok. If it doesn't, I'll consider splitting it apart further.

tonymouse, what is this expansion you were discussing? I was an original purchaser too, but I don't remember an expansion. I think I remember there being a classic Rocketeer-like leather jacket as a possibility. I'm a bit fuzzy on what some of the other accessories were supposed to be.

I was thinking of doing a second volume with additional items. All of those items are in this package to some degree. The additional capes just don't have added movement morphs or fits beyond just base M4 (there's a men's cowl neck cape, a high collared cape and a hooded cloak). But the jacket is there, along with stand alone pants, shorts, a t-shirt, two new boot types, one new glove type, an additional cowl, a very plain belt and some more smart prop masks.
