Hi all

Why can I only see the above in full sail or when I select to hide them, so no sails at all seen. The sails as per the store description and pictures do not show (HFSAILSMAT.ds) thogh the shortcut is there. Plus the flags show as if in dock

thanks

It uses Geometry switching ... found the old Readme:

    http://docs.daz3d.com/doku.php/artzone/azproduct/5442

I am not at my render pc at the moment, but as far as I remember you have to click on the Sails in the scene tab and should see a possibility to switch in the parameters pane.

  • The sails MAT files might be part of the problem — these old-format scripts sometimes don't work right in modern versions of DAZ|Studio. One possible workaround (note that this is not a proper fix) is to drag the MAT file from the content tab onto the model in the Viewport, instead of the more usual clicking on the MAT with the model selected. No guarantees, though, the geometry switching used for the sails and flags in this model hasn't worked reliably since before D|S4.0.
