What does Caves of Cave Island bring to the table that's not in Cave Island?

    Less ocean and flowers and ceiling crystal chandeliers! 

    I have the original, too, and was asking myself the same thing.  A map like the original had would have been really nice.  The caves in the new one have the holes in the ceiling with the lights, and the layout is different.    There are also sort of pathways that look like they were carved out, so a little more human activity implied.  Also it's less grey and more beige.  I'm not sure that there's really anything you couldn't make the original do, but there would be a lot of work involved. 

    I'm still on the fence about it.

    I was comapring the promos and the map in the first product, and I wonder if this adds more caves further in? Just frustruating not knowing what the intent was. And I like "complete" sets, so would be good to know if this can replace the caves in the first one, actually connects to them, etc. Hopefully PW will comment, or someone that has both can chime in.
