So ... is it just my install, or is the texture that comes with the Matador pants kind of ... bad?

Granted, it's a very muscular figure -- that explains the pokethrough -- but I don't think that the musculature is responsible for the artifacting I'm seeing.

I didn't buy the texture expansion, so I don't know if they have the same issue.

The rest of the outfit seems fine; it's just the pants with all that weird ... whatever it is.

For some reason, the texture is not following the UVs. If a reinstall doesn't solve the problem, look for a tiling issue. Start with Horizontal Tiles and Vertical Tiles. They should both be 1.0.

Reinstall seems to have fixed it. I guess there was a corrupt texture file for the pants.

For anyone who was experiencing an issue with Roderick requiring an eyelashes morph from another character, that issue has been fixed, (Jepe announced the update in my Roderick/SBH thread.) I saw the update in DIM this afternoon.

Ehhh... just a test render, but it turned out nice.

Diego has a good face. Maybe too good? Darius 6 was too amazing, and it's hard to see a render with Darius 6 in it without thinking, "Okay, that's Darius 6." It takes me out of the scene when it's obvious that it's him, a Daz asset. The blending of face dials helps preserve the illusion, I think, and I always work extra HARD to reduce the Darius 6 face when I use the Darius 6 textures. Darius 6 is just way too distinctive a character.

Hopefully I don't feel that way about Diego 8, but he's still a good looking figure.

I don't particularly notice when a character is Darius 6 compared to Michael 8 or Sakura 8 any of the other commonly used DAZ Originals base characters. It's a DAZ product that's going to look like the same DAZ product every time it's used.
