Shoe fits for other characters

Just wondering if there is a tutorial on adding morphs for other Characters.

Mainly fitting shoes to Alexandria 8.

Thanks

If the shoe was made for genesis 8 it should fit any of the addon characters. What shoes and got an image of the issue?

  • The shoes with this outfit are an example.

Aoto fit as normal mangles up the shoes. Romoving the auto fit morph is worse.I can make morphs in hexagon but things go terribly wrong when I bring them back into Studio.

  • Are the shoes for Genesis 8?

  • The other question is... what are you trying to do? How are you loading the shoes?

Usually, with the High Heel shoe, there's a pose that goes with it.
Assuming this is Genesis 8 with a Genesis 8 shoe, if you're using Autofit rather than other methods of applying the shoes, you may simply be missing the pose.

Try selecting the Shoe, and go into the Poses area to see if your Shoe comes with a pose.

In the product description, you want to find where this is: Feet H.Pose

Well I just tried it with that outfit and Alexandria. the outfit fits as expected, but it does warp the heels a bit, but because of the morph, not autofit.

If you can't live without the Alexandria morph, you could try this product to zero out the morphs in the feet https://www.daz3d.com/shape-splitter

  • Thanks for your answers but let me clarify the question.

When you buy things there is a list of charecters it is designed to fit,for example Victoria,Aiko, ect.

I want to be able to add to that list. I can do that with clothes but shoes eludes me. I am doing something wrong but I don't know what.

Correct I want to know how to make the morph when needed.

  • The methods are the same, it's just that shoes - especially high-heels - are more likely to show the limitations of the auto-projection both because their form is more regular and because of the distance the heels may extend from the body.

Thanks everyone I finally discovered what I was doing wrong. Any auto bend morphs need to be zeroed before exporting the shoes.

I figured it out reading this if anyone else runs into the same problem.
