    What I'm curious about is that if a PA is featured now, does that mean that they will probably not be releasing a new item during the period of the fest.

    Not all PAs have a new item when they are featured. But usually if they do have one, they are featured when it's released.

    I know that there have been years past when a single PA was featured multiple times during the run of the promotion, so I would expect that more than a few will be repeaters again this year.

    You do know the answer. And, you are right. The more complete information is, the better it would be.

    PAs choose to participate or not. Often, that is determined by whether they can finish a product in time to participate. Some PAs are able to complete more than one item for the sale.  So you may or may not see PAs you hope has something in the sale.

    There's usually catch up sales sorta halfway through and then again at the end as well.

    the special deals where there are PA items that have an addtional pecent off... are these "extra" discounts already reflected in the price given?
    for example : "Extra 20% OFF¥ These featured Genesis 3 Items from Featured Artist Catalogs above"

    In past years, have there typically been flash sales during the PA sale? Or are flash sales usually limited to the times between the bigger sales?

    today is a wash for me though ... nothing interesting to me in new stuff or specials

    Yes they are - you can see the difference on the PA Festival sale page. All PA products are supposed to be 40% off, but the Gen4/Genesis ones show 68% off, the Genesis 2 ones show 58% off and the Genesis 3 ones show 52% off in those pics at the bottom of the page.

    ETA: And DO's are showing at 77%, 71% and 67% off if you are a PC+ member.

    Don't have much more than 50 bucks per month between DAZ3D, Rendo and the other sites anyway.

    As someone that almost exclusively uses Poser, and does not buy DAZ Studio only-products, this is going to be a cheap month for me here....

    PA's should never read these threads. As a consumer I dig a straight up sale, stacking is ok but I like to know the actual price of an item out of the cart.

    well, i pass on centaurs. i dont render them. not into fantasy. 
    ALSO .. the pricing overall doesn;t grab me very much. 40-50% off doesn;t cut it anymore when you can often stack or just outright get 70-80% or sometimes more off.

    They are D-forced, so one would assume that you could put them on a human figure and just drape the back.

    Yeah, the promo seems more like one for a add-on texture pack than for a hair item.  Really strange, but given all the other oddities, it looks like this Centaur release may have been rather rushed

    Yes, there have.  It's usually the straw that breaks my camel's back and gets me to buy a cartload of things that have been on my "maybe" list.

    I think she could get lucky that night on the town in this one

    is like a hospital gown for accessibility 

    A nice pair of leggings though would solve that

    Is there some way to separate what is NEWLY on sale for each new day of the sale and somehow clearly mark what’s showed up on previous days?  So we don’t have to see the same products over and over and over again?    Like NEW TODAY, and PREVIOUS DAYS.  There are hundreds and hundreds of products and it’s already boring.

    New releases are already separated in “debut new” and “still new” sections on the sale page.

    I ended up passing on the Centaurs, my Genesis 3 versions haven't made it out of the forest and into a render yet.  If they ever do I might pick up the 8's later.  The sale has been pretty good and varied thus far though, I only have $300 to spend through the whole thing this time around.  I don't think I'm going to have any problem spending it.
