Daz Studio doesn't want to install on the iMac.

in Technical Help (nuts n bolts)

The art studio closed down, and I got one of the iMacs, I installed poserf, now I am trying to install Daz Studio.. it doesnt want to install or even download through the install manager, as well as content which are apps.. but, Hexagon installed... which is strange...

I tried downloading DAZ studio the main app... manually, but it doesnt want to install either...

what is going on ?

    It's most likely exactly what the error message says. The directory DS wants to install to is read only. You need to chaneg that.

    O.k,...Thank you.. I sorted that out by setting read&write in Get Info dialogue ..which fixed that... but these two failed to unstall... and I dont know why, I have poser 11 installed.. Dont care much about the phtoshop brdige ... but i need the DSON importer to install ..

    I managed to install it manulaly from https://www.daz3d.com/downloader/customer/files#prod_14897... it asked for poser 2012 not Poser 11.. but changed it to poser 11... , so dont know if it is going to work or not when I need to use it.

    the DSON thing is working.. after the manual install... so everything is set to do things now...yay .. thank you :) btw the poser 2012 is just a runtime folder.. i ported from another computer.. that has both versions, including the poser 5 runtime (my first runtime)
