Digital hoarding still beats physical hoarding

    storage is cheap

the money worried me until my brother pointed out he spends much more on pay TV which I don’t do at all, this is my interactive alternative, people playing video games and buying DLC content fall in the same category, he doesn’t understand 3D but compared it to that and it’s a good analogy.

You run more than one session of daz so you can setup the next render while one is running (despite the fact it cripples your pc).

*cough* you bought and networked in a second workstation for rendering only to get around that problem.

That's more like "using it enough," since it takes a lot of time and dedication to be good enough at something to do it professionally.

When persistent black screens from your card not recovering is the end of your world, you don’t know what to do with your life now so resort to tedious nonGPU rendering for hours on end  just so you can cope.

I'd be fine with that kind of too much...

When you start to know whose render it is just from the models they use.

You spent $170 on a SpyderX Pro to callibrate your dual monitors because the color and contrast difference from one to the other was driving you crazy trying to do postwork!

*Sigh*  I can't tell you the number of times I've had to tell management no, I can't make their company branding look the same on everybody's monitor then try to expalin why.  Particularly when they bring it up on two monitors on the same system.

LOL, you forgot to mention the hostile dogs allowed to run loose by your neighbors; but let you skip mowing the lawn one turn and see the concern of the neighbors.

Not too many of those housing estates here in Australia  fortunately, neighbours cannot dictate what you do in your own yard and you are under no obligation to tend to the council nature strip either.

I live in a jungle no lawn at all, don’t own a lawnmower

    Whoa! That's nice.

I've been planting fruit & nut trees all over my yard but it's gonna but probably another 5 years until they all are big enough to create sufficient shade for me to about eliminate mowing. Where I planted the European (or maybe Japanese) variety of Witch Hazel that's created enough shade under it to where it's just violets growing. At times I've considered moving to Arizona as I liked the yards in Tucson & vicinity that were just sand and some cactus. Or Maine where it's so cool.

When you have three renders going at once (two animated shots and one still picture)! I have no idea why my photo is upside down taken from my phone.

When you're in the doctor's office and you realize you saw a figure that looked just like one of the nurses. . .and you could probably find a close enough pair of scrubs, hair, etc.  I knew the hair.  I'd seen it so many times on my wishlist.  :P
