I have this item on my wishlist and wanted to ask the forum if anyone has used this product? How does it perform and do you like it?

It would be helpful and you would get better responses if you named the product in the thread title.
Alas, I was hoping someone knew more about this and how it looked on the figure..oh well
I've used the sets they've made for Genisis 3, and those are decent. The lipsticks don't really hold up well in close ups without tweaking the shaders, you'll need to shut down the translucency channel in many cases after applying (particularly if your character shader doesn't have a "natural" reddish translucency color) and sometimes they just don't fit the shape of the mouth of certain characters/morphs.
I assume the experience would be similar with this G8 version, though it seems the G8 version has more common eye make up styles than the G3 one does, which I think is an improvement.
This is Edith, a G8F figure with a 'modest' application of a liner, basic shadow, light colored blush, and an orange-ish lip. The lip is still too much for me, so I'd have to tone it down. Honesty I got it a long time ago when it first came out and haven't ever used it til just now. I like the 'Basic' shadows. There are a lot of bold shadow and lip options I'd never have a use for and are not suited to the average everyday girl which is what I render. If you are doing a scene with a character who needs these more bold options, then it would work. All depends on the genre and look you want.
Also I need to submit a ticket.. I got callouts for 'Pepper' textures on the basic 01 and basic 02 shadows. Might be other callouts on down the line but I didn't check since LIE takes some time to load each option (for my computer).
That's pretty much it.
Here's an image of the default Edith skin (using Layla's lashes). She has her normal brows. Then I used one of the 'Mix' presets, and I notice it removed her brows! Using the indivdual makeups applied as separate layers worked fine. Didn't check any other mix presets. Will have to add this to the ticket along with the callouts
I think they're (just) okay. I rendered some images of three combinations on different skintones. All images are out of the box with default Daz lighting and headlamp turned off. Here's two of them
And the other combination
Mine were the same lighting but used only the one skin tone.. I don't use that sun thing, I use the dome environment one. I rotated the dome to 120 though to show a brighter light. I usually rotate my dome to about 73, but felt the 120 gave better light.
I'll have to look at a couple more skin tones!
I only have the Set 2 for G3 (which also works on G8), but for what it's worth, I like it!
I used it here, here, and here (only blush and eye shadow on that last one, not the lips.)
- Eye shadow looks great on all light and tan skin tones that I've tried it on. Only some of the options look good on black skin.
- Blush looks good on all skin tones, but only 1 of the 3 shades that are included in my set are to my taste.
- Lipstick looks good, but is very harsh with default settings. After applying the lips I usually open the base and translucency maps in LIE and dial down the opacity of the lipstick layer manually for better results.
Thanks all for your feed back I appreciate it.
Maybe I'm missing something or haven't checked thoroughly enough through all of the products, but why not use a geoshell upon which to apply the makeup, particularly for the eyes & lip areas? Is there some kind of disadvantage in doing it this way?
